0:00 I want to write a book about how to figure out what to do with your life, which is a lot of what I've written about. I just think so many people are struggling with this. There's the AI of it all. And I think we don't really have a lot of good ancient wisdom, even like recent wisdom, built up about this because it's such a modern problem. Until about 200 years ago, almost everybody was a farmer. The life advice was like how to make your seeds grow.

0:19 Should I grow the seeds or should I fly planes or whatever? And so, we just don't have that much depth to draw from. So, the bar is really low of doing better. I think there's not exactly a book that answers this question. You have on the one end of the spectrum very heavy philosophical books like man's search for meaning which is a great book but like it speaks very obliquely I think to like okay what do I do >> what do I do about it now >> yeah then you have very directive books like designing your life also really good like flowcharts and interview tips obviously there are many attempts on this but a lot of them it's like they don't actually address the question of like how do you find the place that you fit in the world a lot of it is like well here's how to have a creative career here's some general life advice here's some inspiration but like the question on everyone's mind is like but what do what do I Do where do I go?
