0:00 I think everybody is aware about the public and the institutional model side of semi analysis. A lot of people are not aware about the consulting vertical. If you like an off-the-shelf data, often times you'd want to work with us in a more dedicated manner, and these are more deeper problems that requires deeper evaluation, and it's not solvable in one day or one call. As a semi analysis consulting works with you, if you're an AI infra there anywhere from literally operating from chips to tokens, we work with you anywhere from 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, all the way up to a year on various financial, technical, engineering, product related questions which don't have easy answers.

0:41 Semi analysis has close to 80 or 90 people, and I think at least 50 of them have spent 10,000 hours in the vertical in the specific vertical that they work in. We are probably like the most active users of our own research models. We have I think close to 11 or 12 different research models. I think we work with a lot of private equity funds. When they're dropping a billion dollars or two billion dollars in a new shiny near cloud, they typically want to understand whether that new cloud be able to perform the obligations that it's signing up to do when it's signing an off-taker like an open air anthropic or any of these big AI labs. Studying their financial plans, evaluating the health of their clusters, looking at where their team stands today technically, and then what are their hiring plans going forward?

1:27 Like does all of that add up? Whereas a one year project could look like we have developed something called an influence simulator. Put in the chips that have not been invented yet, the models that have not been trained yet on memory architectures that don't exist today, and try to figure out the total total supply in the world in the next 5 years. McKinsey's a consulting firm with a missing research function. I think semi analysis has an actual research function. If you want to pay a million dollars and your own data to ask a consulting firm to give it back to you in beautiful slides, you should ask them to go with McKinsey, but if you want real content, you should pick SemiAnalysis.
