00 So, as you guys know, this past week tech stocks got absolutely hammered, especially the more speculative higher risk ones, which oh by the way happens to be some of Cathie Wood's favorites to buy. Well, because she's actually one of the very few big investors out there that actually shows us all of her trades the same day she makes them, whereas, you know, other giants we have to wait for their quarterly reports to the SEC. Well, we get to see the stocks that Cathie has already started buying from literally this past week. And so, for today's video, I pulled up the 10 stocks that she's already started buying again from just this past week after the huge crashes in price. These stocks are heavily beaten down, very interesting.

47 And she made many millions of dollars worth of purchases just from the just from the past 5 days alone. So, it's pretty wild stuff. It's a lot of money that she's been pouring into the market as stocks fall down a lot. Now, I will just reiterate again before we start, these are very high-risk speculative stocks, most of which are unprofitable companies that I don't even own myself. Excuse me. So, you've been warned about that. Again, these are very high-risk ones. But hey, if you enjoy looking at some new spec stocks once in a while and you want to see some here that have been crashing into the ground recently that Cathie is picking up on the dips, then maybe you'll really like this video. But hey, either way, I hope you guys enjoy it.

36 We're going to do a quick rapid-fire style running through each of these. I'll give my quick opinion on each one of them. Not going to have enough time to do deep dives into these stocks, but I'll just kind of quickly let you know who they are, what my quick opinion is, and I'll even rank them from best to worst to compare to each other and based on that opinion. So, smash that like button, make sure you're subscribed.

58 Let's go ahead and jump straight into it, my friends. Okay, so first up on our list, we have Intellia Therapeutics, ticker symbol NTLA, which Kathy purchased over 72,000 more shares of during the week, worth around $1 million. Now, this is a stock here that can oftentimes be extremely volatile, having lost over 5% on Friday, leaving it down about 8% for the past week, too. However, it's also up over 40% in the past month, but it's also down more than 50% from recent highs, and even much more at over a 90% drop from their all-time highs that they reached back in 2021 during the pandemic craze. Hence why investors flocked to the stock, given that Intellia is actually one of the OGs of CRISPR gene editing technologies, where they aim to cure various diseases by being able to edit your specific DNA. And more recently, the stock was actually climbing once again on some promising results for their next Z candidate for transthyretin amyloidosis, which for those who don't know, I know it's a bit of a mouthful, that is a very rough disease where bad proteins build up in the heart and nerves. And so, Intellia's treatment for that is a one-time gene edit that actually shuts those bad proteins off.

18 Well, in clinical trials, they actually saw protein levels drop by over 90%, which is a really big deal for a one-time treatment like this. However, investors quickly started selling out of the stock once again after the drug was placed on clinical hold because of a patient being treated who very sadly, unfortunately, passed away. Now, whether that was entirely caused by this treatment, I'm not sure. I believe they're still investigating that, but at the moment, as of right now, the FDA has lifted one of the holds after adding new safeguards in place for the clinical trials. Regardless though, it's a major setback for what could be still a breakout treatment in the future given that up to half a million people may be affected by the wild version of this disease. Intellia though is also working on other treatments and really any positive updates from them, really any of them or or even future ones getting announced too could send the stock soaring once again given the high future potential for CRISPR technologies, which I'm sure you guys hear about all the time. But I just think that it's too volatile and high risk of a stock to be touching here for me personally at least until more clarity is given, especially since the company still highly unprofitable too. Time will tell of course how this all plays out, but I'm going to rank them around the middle for now at number six because we still need to see what other stocks are on this list.

49 Okay, coming up next though we have Bullish, ticker symbol BLSH, which Kathy went pretty large on buying over 211,000 shares for about $6.4 million. Again, just in the past week alone. And taking a look at the stock, it's fallen a whopping 15% this past week having now lost over 55% of its entire value since going public just last year. If you've never heard of this company though, they're basically a global cryptocurrency exchange mainly focused on institutional and professional traders rather than like everyday retail investors. So instead of competing directly with something like say Coinbase for small smaller users, they're trying to be more of a high-end trading platform for whales like big hedge funds and other big crypto players. They also hold crypto assets though like Bitcoin and Ethereum on their balance sheet, which makes this stock an even bigger bet on the overall crypto market. And because of that, the share price tends to move right along with Bitcoin and Ethereum. When you know, when crypto is hot, this can really run. When crypto crashes, they tend to get beaten down a bit, too.

01 Putting that aside though, they've also been working on expanding their presence in regulated markets, including services for institutional investors throughout the United States. And they even teamed up with Deutsche Bank to make it easier for moving regular cash into the crypto market as they try to really position themselves as sort of like a bridge between traditional finance and now digital assets. Personally though, since I already own other crypto-related stocks like Robinhood and SoFi, they give me exposure to the to that side of the market. And I also hold some, you know, individual cryptos, too, like Bitcoin and Ethereum directly. Well, because of that, this just isn't really something that I feel I would ever need or even want really in my own portfolio.

46 And because it's volatile, it's highly tied to crypto sentiment, and still pretty risky from a financial standpoint, I'm going to rank them around number seven for now. Although, I could understand crypto investors being more bullish on them, no pun intended, and ranking it higher. But again, just for me personally, it's it's a it's something that just doesn't really offer me anything. And that's why I'm putting it kind of low, cuz it's just something I don't really want in my portfolio.

10 Don't really need, doesn't really excite me in any way. after that though, we have Tempus AI, ticker symbol T E M. Excuse me. Which Cathie purchased over 47,000 more shares of, and worth an estimated $2.8 million. Now, the stock did fall though over 5% on Friday, and that's leaving them down about 8% for the past week, and over 40% from their highs. Although, they are technically still up close to 50% since going public a a of ago. As far as what this company does, though, well, in typical Cathie Wood fashion, you know, one thing we know about her is that she really loves to invest in healthcare and artificial intelligence. Those are really like the two areas that she tends to go the heaviest in. Well, this company is practically, you know, basically a combination of those two things, healthcare and artificial intelligence.

00 As Tempus really takes AI and uses it to analyze huge amounts of, you know, clinical, molecular data in order to help doctors provide personalized medicine. In the short term, Tempus could act as a very effective AI assistant to doctors around the world, which in itself is is pretty valuable. But in the longer term, they also hope for major breakthroughs, like maybe using AI to find, let's say for example, the exact treatment for a patient's cancer based on their own specific DNA.

30 As you'd expect, though, those type of breakthroughs are really going to be many years away. And as such, this remains a high-risk, high-reward type of play given that they do have high revenue growth, but have also lost a lot of money on the bottom line. Analysts do expect them to improve in that area, though, over the coming years. And so for me, this one has the most attractive business of the three stocks that we've seen so far, offering something yeah, I guess just kind of attractive is the right word. But I'll rank it at number five for now because it is still obviously pretty risky and speculative, and I don't know, somewhere around the middle just kind of feels right to me.

10 After that, though, we have another big play on CRISPR Technologies. In fact, they have it directly in their name, and that is, of course, CRISPR Therapeutics, ticker symbol CRSP, which Cathie dropped a whopping more than 12 million dollars on this past week. Huge purchase here. As for the stock, though, it fell close to 10% this past week, and although it has been climbing recently over over past year, the stock is still technically down close to 70% of its value over the past 5 years. Now, full disclosure, I do actually have a very small speculative position in this stock myself, which I bought after the giant crash. But, part of the reason why was not just because of the lower price and their future potential, but also because CRISPR actually has already an approved product in Casgevy, which treats sickle cell disease. Now, the big question for this year in particular though, will be in how large and fast enough they can scale up that business to justify the expensive valuation, especially since the rollout has been a bit slower, with only around 300 patient referrals so far as of the last reported quarter. But, with close to 2 billion in cash, somewhere around there, no long-term debt, I do feel that they are in better shape than maybe some other players in the space. And because I do also own it myself, I will just go ahead and rank them the highest so far at number four, almost by default.

36 Okay, after that though, we have Circle Internet, ticker symbol CRCL, which Kathy picked up another 23,000 more shares of, worth roughly 1.5 million dollars. And yeah, this past week the stock fell by about 9% leaving it also down close to 20% in the past month, over 40% all time since going public last year. As for the company though, they're actually the creators of USDC, what is the second largest stablecoin in the entire world. Now, stablecoin by the way is just a specific type of cryptocurrency that's designed to remain stable in price by being tied to a real-world asset, in this case being the US dollar. So, meaning one USDC is also worth about one dollar.

21 Because of that though, people use it for things like moving money around quickly, trading crypto, and making digital payments without worrying about huge price swings, which Circle then makes most of its money by taking those customer reserves and investing them in safe assets like US Treasury bonds that they later earn interest on, which can be quite lucrative at times. However, the downside is that, as you'd expect, most of their profits depend on interest rates being high. So, if rates fall, their earnings can take a hit pretty fast, too. And because I expect interest rates to fluctuate quite a bit in the coming years, this isn't really a stock that interests me too much here. It where, as an investor, long-term investor, I mostly just care about the long-term results rather than wild swings up and down. And as such, it's going to go a bit lower for me personally, but I'll still put it I'm going to actually take Bullish's spot at number seven. I'll put I'll fit them in right there, actually.

20 Okay, the next stock, however, is actually one of my favorites and and a bit surprising to be on this list here, since it was one of the few tech stocks that actually didn't get crushed at all this past week. And that is the mighty Amazon, ticker symbol AMZN, which Cathie purchased 8,000 more shares of at nearly $2 million. Now, like I said though, the stock was actually about flat for the week, and to this day, it continues to trade right near all-time highs. Despite that high price tag though, Amazon would easily get the number one ranking on this list so far as their e-commerce business is as strong and dominant as ever. Their AWS cloud business is accelerating because of artificial intelligence, despite already being the largest in the world.

59 Their digital advertising business is really starting to print money now, too, as it ramps up larger. And despite how large they already are, there's still a ton of room for growth on the bottom line, too, where they posted more than 76 billion dollars of pure net income profit over the past year, which was still up over 50% too. It's kind of crazy. And just overall, this is a, you know, very likely going to be I would say the the safest stock on Cathie's list today. I can already tell it's going to be that. So, I'm just going to go ahead and declare them the winner here at number one on our ranking list. Okay, we do however have a few more stocks on the list and coming up next is one of those flying cars type of stocks in Joby Aviation, ticker symbol JOBY, which Cathie grabbed a massive 782,000 more shares of this past week worth more than 8 million dollars. Now, the stock itself though had a horrible showing falling 5% on Friday leaving it down a whopping 24% for the past week and 37% in the past 6 months. Although it is a bit more volatile than that since going public a few years ago with several swings both up and down. But more recently, investors were actually displeased with the giant 1.2 billion-dollar stock and debt offering that's diluting current shareholders even further. But, you know, they do really need that cash in order to keep the lights on here until they can actually start flying people around in their electric air taxis that will cut the commute time for short distance travel in cities when compared to, you know, standard cars being stuck on busy roads. Which, don't get me wrong, I do see the big potential in all that. But for a company that is still bleeding so much money on the bottom line and that is having to resort to diluting shareholders in order to, you know, build up their infrastructure, scale up their manufacturing, not to mention even clearing all the regulatory hurdles before we can really see some meaningful revenue from paying customers up there, you know, in the sky. plus even the rising threat of other giants like Boeing for example with their own autonomous eVTOL efforts. However, they are at least one of the furthest along in this space with real aircraft already flying that they've proven, you you know, can actually do some of the things that they promised. And they have advanced FAA certification, they have some manufacturing in place, and even major partners in line like Toyota and the US military. So, if anyone's going to make air taxis actually work, I think Joby has, you know, one of the best shots at being an early mover. And because of that, I'll be nice here, I'm going to rank them around the middle at number six, and I'll bump these other ones here up one spot to fit it in.

44 Okay, up next up we have Beam Therapeutics, ticker symbol BEAM, which Cathie spent $4 million on at over 146,000 shares in just the past week alone. Now, when looking at the stock though, it is a bit of a weird case, having had a terrible week where they fell about 12% during that time. However, if you zoom out a little bit, it's actually up over 40% in the past 6 months, but it is also down over 70% in the past 5 years. So, you know, if you own it, depending on when you actually purchased your shares, you're either having a fantastic time riding the stock up or you're in absolute misery seeing, you know, so many of your gains get wiped away.

26 regardless though, this is another gene editing company, and one that specializes in base editing specifically, where instead of cutting the DNA, they use what is described as almost like a molecular pencil that can erase and rewrite a mutation rather than having to slice it out. And as such, analysts project this to be part of really the next wave of genomics that will explode in market size longer term. At present time though, it's hard to overlook how much money the company loses every year with the all treatments in their pipeline still working their way through clinical trials. However, they are expecting some really important results later this year that you'll probably want to keep an eye on it, obviously if you're invested in them.

07 but they may even apply for approval for one of their furthest along treatments too by by the end of this year too, I believe. all of which could help drive the stock up higher depending on the results we get for that or for any of the other ones going through trials. It is a little hard to rank this stock though compared to like Crispr and Intellia because of their differences in the technology where I feel that Beam's pencil approach could be safer and more precise for certain diseases, but it's also earlier stage and more limited than what the other two can do with their scissors approach. So, to keep it simple, I'm just going to put Beam right in between those other two on our ranking.

48 I guess in the place of Intellia and I'll just move those others down one spot to fit it in there. Okay, we're now down to the final two stocks though and coming in at number nine, we actually have what is everyone's favorite app or maybe least favorite if you're doing really bad in the market right now and if you even use this app. but that is Robinhood, ticker symbol HOOD, h o o d, which Cathy purchased close to 2 million more dollars of during the week. Now, speaking of that stock, it fell over 6% during that time leaving it also down about 14% in the past month. And while it is still up a lot since going public a few years ago, more recently it's lost about a third of its value from the top.

29 That's despite the fact though that the investing app has actually been on fire and continues to grow in popularity. Last quarter for example, they added 2.5 million more funded accounts year-over-year with 1.7 million more gold subscribers. That's for their premium add-on. while the platform itself increased total assets by a triple digit percent and total revenues more than doubled while adjusted EBITDA skyrocketed by 177% too. Now, granted this is at a time when the stock market has been on fire, so that would obviously be a giant tailwind for them. But when looking at what caused the stock to fall, my opinion is that it just kind of climbed too high, I'd say too quickly and therefore probably needed a correction here.

14 Because even after the dip, Hood is still trading pretty close to, like, a $100 billion valuation by market cap, and that's leaving them with a P/E ratio of close to 40, as well. Now, as a shareholder myself, I might argue that it's justified because of their high growth rates, but I also haven't been buying any new shares myself here near the top, either, which I'll be completely honest about. still, they are performing much better financially and overall business-wise than most of the other unprofitable companies on this list. So, I'm going to have to rank them pretty high here at number two, almost by default, because of that. Now, finally, though, the last stock on our list will be none other than Coinbase, ticker symbol c o i n, which Cathie grabbed another 8,000 more shares of, worth around $1.5 million.

01 And this past week, they got hammered, too, falling over 8%, which left them down over 17% for the month and over 40% all time since going public. Now, this, of course, being a major crypto exchange, in fact, believe they're like the believe they're the largest publicly traded one, making most of its money from trading fees when people are actively buying and selling crypto on their platform. So, when crypto markets are hot, Coinbase prints money. But when trading slows down, their revenue can drop fast, too. On top of that, they're facing a major regulatory deadline coming up on, I believe this is going to going to be in on July 1st of this year, when California's new digital financial assets law kicks in. if there isn't a clear federal crypto framework in place by then, then Coinbase could be forced into dealing with a complicated state-by-state regulatory system, which may be more expensive and hurt margins for them. So, for now, I expect some of that uncertainty to keep the stock as volatile as it's already been.

05 Personally, though, I have nothing against Coinbase. I think it's cool to have these large crypto exchanges out there, but unfortunately, like Bullish, I'm just not that interested in owning a pure crypto exchange since I already get some of that exposure through Robinhood, through SoFi. Both of those again are much better much more diversified, too. That said though, I do still like Coinbase more than Bullish. I think it's not that not terrible, and they are in better standing financially, too, than some of the some of these other names on the list. So, I don't know. I'm just I'm going to put them around number seven on our rankings and adjust the rest accordingly. Again, it's not that I don't like them or anything. It's just that for my personal scenario, it's not a stock that really offers me anything.

49 but hey, there you have it, guys. These are the 10 stocks that Cathie is picking up here while they fall, at least so far. Let me know what you think about them down below, and more importantly, do you agree with my rankings? Would you make any changes to them? I'd love to get your opinion on that down in the comments. But hey, either way, I just hope that you enjoyed the video. It was fun for me even though, again, I don't own most of these. I'm not brave enough to make so many speculative bets with my money.

13 But, you know, it was still fun to run through them anyway just to see what's out there in terms of like SPAC stocks and stuff. But, hey, anyway, I hope that you're all doing well, my friends, and I got more videos coming for you soon, so I'll catch you in the next one. All right, take care, everybody. Bye-bye.
