Deep SLEEPER Mock Draft Rounds 10-13 || NBA Fantasy Basketball 2026-2027 [POINTS]

0:00 In fantasy basketball, people love to talk about sleepers, and honestly, some people get really fired up about it. Sometimes I'll share a list with some players that I'm like, "Check out these sleepers." And people are like, "Hey Robin, I knew that player's name. I know where they went to college. I know their statistics from last season. I was aware of him, so he's not a sleeper." Really? So, a sleeper is somebody that people don't know about? Like, that's the definition of a sleeper? In my opinion, the definition of a sleeper is somebody that's going to provide value way beyond where you drafted them, especially players in the middle and late rounds. Now, it's hard to find like a first round, second round sleeper, right? But when we talk about the eighth, ninth, 10th, 11th, 12th round, you could find players there that maybe are not even in the equation, and those are like your deep sleepers. But there are players in this area that we can still consider sleepers because they're going to return that value for you. In this episode, we're going to be closing out our playlist series, doing a deep dive of an entire mock draft. We went through round one all the way down.

1:38 >> So, here we are at the top of the 10th round, and the first pick off the board is Day'Ron Sharpe. Now, Day'Ron Sharpe, the hype train is on 10 right now. People are so high on Day'Ron Sharpe. And when I see articles about the same players, when I hear analysts on podcasts talking about the same players, when people zig, I typically zag. I'm like, wait a minute. If my league mates are listening to the same stuff and reading the same stuff, they're going to be approaching it the same way. So, for me, I think Jaemorant's value is increasing too fast for my speed. The velocity is just a little too turnt right now. So, for me, although I'm fine with this pick, I probably wouldn't draft him that soon. According to our expert data from our community, Jaemorant is at 116, and here he goes off the board at 109.

2:26 So, again, you make your own decision. For me, I'm going to continue to monitor this. At the time of recording this, we're still pretty early in the in the preseason, so or in the offseason, I should say. So, things could change over the next couple of weeks. Let's move right along. Coming in at 110, we got Jaime Jacquez Jr.

2:55 A little too expensive for my taste for Jaime, but I love Jaime Jacquez Jr. And again, we talked about this in the last episode. If you like a player, and you need to reach a round or two for him in these later rounds, it's okay. Especially new fantasy basketball managers. Sometimes we go into a draft, and you're drafting on your phone, and you're like just taking the player based on the projections of the site that you're playing on. So, if you're on ESPN, they're going to tell you, "Hey, take this player next." If you're on Yahoo, "Take this player next." Don't do that.

3:27 Do not do that. Draft on your laptop if you can, or if you are drafting on your phone, have an external document or resource that you can use to help you, and pick the players that you want. I want Jaime Jacquez Jr., but I'm not going to draft him this soon. Coming in at 111, CJ McCollum. He ages like fine wine. I think he'll produce, you know, some fantasy value. Not as interested in him as others. At the 112th pick, we got Isaiah Hartenstein. As stable as it gets for fantasy. He was a little banged up last season, but nonetheless, he can still get you some value. I'm not mad at the pick, not personally interested.

4:05 At the 113, we got Jakob Poeltl. Again, a player that has been pretty good for fantasy over the years. Has kind of stabilized in a blah meh kind of area. So again, not somebody I'm super hyped or interested in, but I'm not mad at the pick. At the 114, the forgotten man, somebody that we were all high on. I actually bought bought a bunch of his rookie cards. I thought he was going to be that dude, and now I'm sitting with all of these dadgum rookie cards for Jordan Poole. And like Jordan Poole is not giving me the kind of fantasy basketball vibes that I want, and he's not giving me the real life vibes that I want. Honestly, he's just kind of a middle of the pack guy. We're not sure what's going to happen. not even middle of the pack. I would say bottom of the pack guy. So I He could have a breakthrough, just not a risk I'm willing to take. So I'm out on Jordan Poole.

4:58 >> Jordan leave the kids at the pool with the baddies. >> Now somebody I am hyped on his teammate Derrick White. Huh? I got Derrick White circled on every single one of my draft boards in blood. Like I literally I just scraped my finger and circled his name. I I didn't really do that. That's That's crazy. But Derrick White is definitely a player I'm looking at. You know, there were points of the season last year where they were giving the young man some run. And he looked good, man. He can shoot, he can dribble, he can create his own shot, he rebound, block. Like listen, Derrick White could be something special. So for me, I'm interested, circling him on all of my draft boards.

5:37 At 116, we got Sandro Mamukelashvili. Not mad at that, not crazy about it either. Definitely a player that is hyped up right now based on this trade and him going to LA. Again, he's always been a waiver wire guy. So, for me, I don't know if it's going to be that kind of a vibe for him for points leagues. I do know there are some very interesting data points about his production last season. So, again, he has a legit fantasy player. I'm not looking to target him. And another player I'm not looking to target. It looks like I wouldn't take anybody in this round. At 117, we got Myles Turner.

6:10 I am out on Myles Turner. Like, bye-bye. Do Stay away. Do not draft. I want nothing to do with Myles Turner. Kel'el Ware is there. We don't know who's starting, who's sitting. It's just like And honestly, Kel'el Ware is like getting another hype train, you know, goose. Like, he's super hyped. I'm good on him, too. Like, his hype train is going way high. People are drafting him like, you know, on the next level. Like, I'm okay.

6:37 I'm out on Myles Turner, too. At 118, I am not out on Saddiq Bey. I think Saddiq Bey in this area might be a little early, but I think he's going to have some great value for fantasy. So, I'm interested. At 119, Mark Williams. Burned me last year. Won't be drafting him again. He might have a good season, just not somebody I'm checking for. At 120, huh? This was actually my pick. Somebody I am quite interested in.

7:00 Jrue Holiday. Jrue Holiday is going to crush wherever he lands. And I don't know if he's going to stay in Portland. If he ends up in Miami, oh baby. Can you imagine? So, getting Jrue Holiday in this area, sign me up. You can sign me up today, tomorrow, day after that. I'm all in on Jrue Holiday for fantasy basketball in general, but especially this season because people are undervaluing him so much. Last year, he finished at 85. So, if I could get him in at at what? I got him at 120? He finished 85th last year. Averages 16.3 points per game, 4.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists.

7:39 And check this out. Lean in. One steal per game. You know what we saying right here? Top is off, boobies is out, hair blowing in the freaking wind, proverbial. I'm just saying, I'm just saying, give me Jrue Holiday. I'm excited about that. Maybe a little too excited for an an early like off-season draft, but hey, that's just what we do over here. Okay, so let's get into the 11th round. at the 121, I grabbed Darius Acuff Jr. Admittedly, that's early for Darius Acuff Jr. That's me swinging for the fences. I wouldn't recommend for people to draft him that early. I I'll be on the record and saying that I'm maybe a little too high on him, but the potential is very very very interesting to me.

8:26 Like I I'm quite interested in Darius Acuff Jr. According to our data, he's actually going at 130. So, I reached for him there. But again, if you want the player on your team, it's okay to reach a little bit. It's okay. I wouldn't recommend Darius Acuff Jr. Traditionally for fantasy basketball, rookie point guards struggle. A lot of it has has to do with turnovers, and depending on your league settings, if you're being penalized for turnovers, it it can kind of balance things. The reason I'm interested in Darius Acuff Jr. is because many people believe he is the best point guard that John Calipari ever coached, which is crazy to me. The best scoring point guard, some are saying, right?

9:12 If you think about the history of point guards that have played for John Calipari, we have Jamal Murray, right? Come on now. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Derrick Rose. You know, even Devin Booker, if you want to consider him a combo guard. So, these are guys who are like official All-Star level, MVP level, you know, these are like guys who are Hall of Fame potential level, and they all played for this coach. And this kid's numbers were insane for college. So, for me, that's why I'm drafting him. It is a reach, but it's something I stand by. Coming in at 122, Keegan Murray. Not as crazy about Keegan Murray this season, just he's just never wowed me yet, and I'm just still waiting. Dax Hill Lyndon B Clark is definitely a player I am looking at at 123 here. that seems like a fair spot to grab him in. I think according to our data, he's at 135, so reaching a little bit based on the data that we have, but hey, I'm I'm all for it. Andrew Nembhard not as high on the return of Tyrese Haliburton, like I'm okay. At 125, Cason Wallace. Not mad at that. He'll be starting now for OKC.

10:32 A lot of usage going to be available with the departure of Lu Dort. I'm okay with that. 126, Cedi Osman. I love Cedi Osman this year. Got him circled on all of my draft boards. I would recommend you do the same thing. Look for him. I think in this area seems fair. Let me look at some numbers here just to kind of give some further context. So, Cedi Osman is actually going earlier. We got him going at 118 in the 10th round.

11:03 and he's off the board here at 126. So, that's that's a lot of value. So, I would be okay with drafting him at the top of the 11th, maybe bottom of the 10th. Great pickup. This is the Gons team. Big shout out to you. And we're working on something right now. If you guys didn't know, our the people that we're drafting with here, these are not like random public leagues on ESPN. Like people really got it messed up.

11:29 We won 66 championships last season in our community and we have the top tier fantasy basketball points leagues players on the planet in our community. People who live, breathe, and sleep points leagues. Don't play another kind of platform like another format. They're not playing category leagues and moonlighting as points leagues players. Like it's in our blood. It's in our DNA. And these guys have years of experience, tons of success, and they are drafting with us. So this data is as accurate as it's going to get across the industry cuz most of the fantasy basketball outlets that you listen to and watch, they do both. They'll be like, "Hey, we got category leagues. We're also going to do some points league stuff because we have to." Like nah, we do we don't do this because we have to.

12:17 We do this because we love it. We do this because we want to. We do this because we believe in this. Get it? Believe Believe in fantasy. I I didn't mean to do that. Just happened. Okay, let's move along. >> >> Coming in at 127, Christian Braun. I'm okay with that. Not mad at that. 128, Davion Mitchell. Like I love this pick. I I love Davion Mitchell this season. 129, Peyton Watson. There are some questions around his contract and where he where he will end up, but I think wherever he lands, he's going to have a good season. 130, Scotty Pippen Jr.

12:50 People are high on Scotty Pippen Jr. I am not as high, but I'm not mad at drafting him here. Then Antec grabs Ousmane Dieng. I think he's going to do well. He was good for me in a lot of areas when I picked him up off the waiver wire last year, so I'm curious to see what he does. At the 132, we got Dillon Brooks closing out the 11th round. I think Dillon the villain Brooks is a player that I'm interested in drafting if he falls to me. Not somebody I'm reaching for anything crazy like that. So not mad at this pick.

13:19 At the In round 12, starting off the draft at the 133, we got Moussa Diabaté. Moussa Diabaté is going to have a good season. So, I'm fine with this. He's slowly moving into my sleeper list. I I don't know if I have him there yet, but I have like this running document of all my sleepers, my must drafts, and he might be one of the players that I'm looking to move into that area. At 134, Colin Gillespie had a great season last year, really showed up. With the arrival of Miles Bridges and the health of Jaylen Green, I don't know how that's going to impact Colin Gillespie, but I think he'll have a decent season. At 135, we got a rookie off the board with Keon Waegler. I like Keon Waegler.

13:58 not sure what kind of investment they're going to make on in him for the first season, and the Clippers just have so much like drama and uncertainty swirling around them. I'm not as high on him as I am on other rookies. At 136, Kristaps Porzingis, I'm good. I I don't want no parts of that. Like, it's like when he plays, he's amazing, but he don't play. He don't play, I'm out. 137, John Collins, he'll get slide right into that Tobias Harris role, so he won't be like anything crazy to set off fireworks about, but he he he should have a pretty stable fantasy basketball season. At 138, Anfernee Simons, not as interested in Anfernee Simons, just too much happening in Philly, and I don't think he'll be a priority. At 139, Mac McClung Jr., I am interested. Yes. I think this is a player that you want to pay attention to later in the drafts.

14:50 You might not have these guys on your team if you're going to be streaming, right? These guys might get dropped picked up dropped. I'm fine with drafting him in the in the 12th round. At 140, in the 12th round, we got Shaedon Sharpe. So many so many guards in Portland, I I I'm good. Like, I'm okay with Shaedon Sharpe. At 141, Brandin Podziemski, another player I'm not so interested in. 142, Draymond Green, another one not really checking for. 143, Tobias Harris, safe pick, but for fantasy, I love it. I'm Spurs fan.

15:23 I'm so glad he's with the silver and black. But for fantasy, not sure I want him on my team. But at 144, somebody I do want on my team. I have circled everywhere, Quentin Grimes. When Quentin Grimes gets run, he cooks. When he is given the keys to the car and getting 20-25 minutes a night, he cooks. So, in this 12th round, 13th round area, I don't I don't think there are many players that I would want over Quentin Grimes. Like, I really like him in these later rounds. So, for me, I have him circled everywhere. I would recommend that you do the same. You Listen, if you were 2 ft away from Malik Thomas diving on the floor at the OTE arena like me and my son were a couple of years ago, you would do the same thing. It wasn't even a couple of years ago. I think Was it? I don't know. But, we had front-row seats at an OTE game, a high-level environment. Malik Thomas is a demon. There's another OTE player that I was I had very similar feelings about.

18:07 It was Amen Thompson. I told my son, I was like, "Yo, that kid" I looked at the twins. I was like, "That twin right there in his eyes, I could see the darkness." Like, it's just a really killer spirit and seriousness and like a stoic nature to him. Malik Thomas is very similar. He's a killer, yo. He is insane. And in Summer League, he popped off. Telling you, if if the stars align and again, with your last pick, swing for the fences.

18:40 Like, you grabbing like T.J. McConnell in the last round is like, come on, man. Like, let's grab a rookie that we don't know what's going to happen. Who's going to be the player this year that surprises us and blows us out of the water? For me, he's my Rob Dillingham of this year. I was I was like on the record with one of the worst takes in fantasy basketball history about Rob Dillingham. I thought Rob Dillingham was going to be that dude. I was wrong. As many mistakes as I've made up as As mistakes that I've made, I've also had a bunch of hits, right? So, with this one, I'm praying that it is a hit. Please consider drafting Malique Thompson. At 148, we got Killian Hayes and Bol Bol. I am high on him. I would love to draft him here.

19:23 That's tons of value. 147, Aaron Gordon. Like Al Horford and Bol Bol, I don't know. 148, Bennedict Mathurin. Again, kind of a meh, blah pick. I'll take it though. 149, Anthony Black. Again, nothing too memorable, nothing too exciting. 150, AJ Griffin. I am interested in. Now, there's going to be a lot of changes in OKC. There's going to be a lot of opportunity in OKC. And AJ Griffin, AJ Griffin, when given opportunity last season, cooked. So, I think this is something that you want to consider. I would definitely draft him in this area. 151, TJ McConnell. Again, the return of Tyrese Maxey, Andrew Nembhard is there. I'm not that interested in TJ.

20:03 Jalen Johnson, I am interested in. I think he's going to have a second-year leap. I don't know how far he will be leaping, but definitely I would be open to drafting him as well. Then we have Mitchell Robinson. Mitchell Robinson at 153, I have no interest in Mitchell Robinson at all. At 154, Bobby Portis. He could be valuable. Bobby Portis typically is. He might end up on your waiver wire, but to draft him, I wouldn't be mad at it. Jalen Tyson, I am a little more interested in because he's younger. There's a lot of question marks around him, a lot of opportunity if someone goes down, so I'd be open to it.

20:36 And a fine pick by Mark, Scoot Henderson at 156. I think that's great. Again, with a fully, fully crowded backcourt, we don't know exactly where Scoot will fit in, but one thing we do know about Scoot, that he does have a ton of potential. And when he gets the minutes, he can produce. He had one of the best performances in their playoff matchup against the San Antonio Spurs in in the one game that they won. So, again, he's ready for the big stage. He was a high draft pick. I think Scoot Henderson is a fine pick with your last pick.
