0:00 Two places that we really focus on is women's health and children. How can yoga become a very important part of a child's life today? >> There's only one answer. The mom has to start practicing it. You can't expect a child to do something if you can't show them what needs to be done. We have so many kids in the community who have become very regular just because their mom is regular. And especially when the kids are younger, let's say 2 to 8 age group, they are all the time copying you.

0:31 >> Yeah. >> If you do something, they are >> bound to follow it by themselves without even you telling. I saw kids 3.5year-old doing exercise with us without anyone telling them to do. So ideally what what I tell the moms is that if you have a kid in the house, just keep a yoga mat next to you and just don't say anything. They will automatically come. One day they'll watch, the next day they'll come and then third day they'll start practicing it with you. If you are regular, they will eventually become regular without you have to do anything about it.

Summary

Yoga can play a crucial role in a child's development, particularly when mothers model the practice themselves. By incorporating yoga into their daily routine, mothers can inspire their children to engage in the practice naturally.

- Mothers practicing yoga regularly influence their children's participation.
- Children aged 2 to 8 are highly impressionable and often mimic their parents' actions.
- Simply having a yoga mat available can encourage children to join in without prompting.
- Observational learning is key; children may start practicing yoga after watching their mothers.
- Consistency in a mother's practice leads to children becoming regular practitioners themselves.
