Vanessa Lapointe I'm a registered psychologist parenting educator and mom to two growing boys my mission has always been to change the kind of conversation that we are having around children and around child development so much so that we in a child is having a meltdown in the grocery store line up it's not just the parent that's on the child's side but it's all the other people looking on at the situation that can be on that child

0:27 side that they can really understand why that child needs to have that meltdown in the moment that it doesn't make the child bad and it certainly doesn't make the parent bad and that the answer in all of this is to really champion parents so that parents can champion their children to grow in the best possible way in the way that nature intended this course is all about how we discipline our children without getting in the way of child development
