When I first found handinhand early in my own parenting journey, I was completing my training as a clinical child psychologist and I had access to every parenting resource imaginable and I was still struggling.

That spirit of lightness, warmth, belief in parents, good intentions, and offer of company when things are hard made me feel welcome and really helped me become the parent that I wanted to be. And I want that same sense of welcome and connection to be available as widely as possible, especially now when so many families and caregivers are navigating overwhelming challenges.

1:14 Handinhand's goal is simple, that every child has at least one adult in their life with access to our tools and our community. And over the past 40 years, we've grown through parentto parent connections. Today, we have instructors in 38 different countries, resources in 15 languages, a listing as an evidence-based practice, and a newly published study in the Infant Mental Health Journal. In recent years, we've expanded our reach into the many systems that care for children, training teachers, social workers, pediatricians, family leaders across the world. And right now, those systems are facing a profound crisis of care.
