easy springtime activity to do with your little ones that doesn't require a lot of supplies or a lot of prep time well look no further because in today's video i'm going to be sharing simple ways to facilitate uh activities with them um how do i set limits and all of that so i can't wait to share this video with you guys before we dive into the video i just want to quickly let you guys know in get into the video so here's what we used to decorate our eggs so we found some fake eggs at walmart for two dollars we also used some real eggs we have [[1:29]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=89s) some painters tape glitter food coloring in all different kinds of colors as well as some other glitter that we had lying around the house some fake eggs for decoration some foil as well as a white crayon and some elastic rubber bands or you can use real rubber bands okay so the first thing you want to do when you start an activity [[2:00]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=120s) is you want to set some clear expectations okay so mommy's going to show you and then i'll let you know and i need some help okay and when it's your turn okay so watch mommy first okay so this first one we're gonna do is we're gonna color the easter egg with a white crayon hold on one second please put that back i'll let you know when i'm done thank you so much for listening okay so mommy's gonna make a little [[2:25]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=145s) swirls on my easter egg don't worry it's gonna be your turn soon mommy made so you can't see them yet we're gonna put them in the die and then you'll be able to see them okay hey thank you for listening go ahead and grab one egg and lily you can go ahead and grab one egg now i want you to do just what mommy did and we only have one crayon so you'll have to wait your turn lily [[2:46]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=166s) you're waiting so patiently for your turn go ahead and put the last finishing touches to your egg and then it'll be lily's turn very good all done now you can give it to give crap the crayon to it you can keep this great sharing okay now it's lily's turn to make her little circles and whatever she wants to put on her egg then what we're gonna do girls is we're gonna put it in our food coloring so we [[3:16]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=196s) can see it uh i'm gonna do this in this okay we'll pick one color okay i'm gonna pick this one at this one okay i'll pick this one good job picking one color you're done okay so this is the part of the activity where you know things take a turn we realize that we did the dye incorrectly for the fake eggs so they are not sinking to the bottom uh after this we start using real eggs [[3:44]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=224s) but we didn't have time to boil them so they're raw and they could literally splat at any moment so you'll notice that i'll be telling the girls over and over and over throughout this activity to please use their gentle hands and that is why another side note this activity was a little bit of a fail because we when we did sink them in the die we didn't really pick up the swirls and the designs that we made so i think [[4:11]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETWSXlSJqL8&t=251s) we needed to push a little bit harder on our egg but again we couldn't because it was raw [Music] yep it's your turn so i'm gonna drop it here and we're gonna gently help mommy put it gently in the cup okay now help me put it in there gently yay good job okay we gotta let it cook okay you wanna stir it around gently okay you can stir yours around whoa it's so purple yeah go ahead and we're gonna do is we're gonna use foil okay mommy's gonna show you first and then it'll be your gorgeous turn okay so what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna grab my egg okay and i'm gonna wrap it in my foil
