00 Awesome. Well, I think we have a lot of people on the line, so I can go ahead and get started with introductions. so thanks for joining. my name is Christa. I'm a part of the go to market team here at SpaceX. and I also wanted to introduce Vincent who will be moderating today. But Vincent, do you want to introduce yourself? >> Sure. Hi everybody. Thanks for joining. I saw a lot of different locations that people were joining from.
26 So that's super exciting. I'm on our growth team at SpaceX and have been loving using Grockbot and so really excited to also have Christa show you all a little bit more of how she's been using Grockbot as well. >> Perfect. so quick backstory, I initially started dogfitting Grothbot internally. the first day we re released it for internal use and since then I've enjoyed sharing a lot of fun things and how I've been using it day-to-day for go to market at spa at SpaceX AAI along with my teammates and seen a lot of you share some cool use cases on X. So I'm excited to share what's useful for our team. but first I kind of wanted to talk about you know what Grockbot is. So, Grockbot is a little bit different than other AI tools you might have used, at least AI tools I've used previously. So, all your bots have a persona and they're not siloed to oneoff tasks. So, I like to treat them as specialized teammates, similar to how you might reach for a senior engineer engineer for technical questions or pull in a designer to help you create a polished deck, maybe even a BDR to help with prospecting, and so and so on.
39 So each bot feels like it has a persona or a job. secondly, I think most of the tools I've had available previously for general knowledge work or go to market roles are mostly synchronous ro or synchronous work. So you're prompting at your computer. I think engineering has had access to cloud agents that we use with cursor or asynchronous agents for a while but it didn't really really feel accessible to people like me or people like you. And for my role and what I do every day I never had that like cursor moment where I felt like AI was making me 10x or 100x more productive like it has for engineers.
20 So but that's really changed with Grothbot. so I'm now able to get work done overnight or while I'm on calls with customers or even when I'm not at my computer walking my dog and it feels like I can hand off real work to a colleague I trust and really improve my mental workload as well. so I wanted to introduce Grockbot. Grockbot can work overnight with your laptop laptop shut as I mentioned or even on your phone. It remembers your writing style, your preferences, and it gets smarter each day that you use it.
53 it also has access to all the tools you use and has access to its own computer to get work done. my recommendation is to ask bot to use what you live in daily. a lot of people have asked me what I replaced with Grockbot. I'm still actually using a lot of these tools, but I'm just not touching the UI anymore. Grockbot is actually using these tools for me. So, we have a plug-in marketplace that's available, but even if there isn't a plugin, you can also log in via the bot's computer and just ask it to login.
28 It'll hand over the computer to you and you can log in as normally or as normal and Grothbot can leverage those tools for you. one of my first tips is before you start working with Grockbot, have it scan your inbox for your writing style. I think I gave it access to X, Slack, and Gmail. or you can also just give it a piece of writing that you're really proud of. So, I'm going to, share a demo and talk about my bots, but just kind of wanted to give a quick overview. So, first, I have a chief of staff. I have it set routines to go through my inbox, prep me for my calls for the day. something I like to do when I'm commuting to work is I just have the Grockbot app on my phone and I just have it prep me for my day while I'm on the way to the office. your chief of staff can also orchestrate other bots. So, if I need to call in a specialist, it'll call that bot for me to be able to get that work done.
31 next really relevant for go to market and enterprise sales. We have my prospecting bot. So this does deep prospect research. It listens to webinars, podcasts, and creates prospecting message off of that. and it drops it just straight in my Gmail drafts. I also have a slides bot. It has context from Figma of our brand guidelines. I really like Figma because it's really easy for agents to use Figma and it will automatically update customer slides based on granola or gong discovery notes. my forecast agent this is one of my least favorite tasks to do manually. It updates my Salesforce next steps based on emails, Slack, granola, and gong activity. and this is probably our product managers and engineers favorite use case of mine because I'm no longer needing to ping an engineer when I have a technical question or add them to a call. I have an engineer agent that's connect or bot that's connected to the codebase where I can ask questions about the codebase and get customerf facing answers. So I don't need to follow up after the call or you know, I can I don't need to call an engineer.
45 I also have a customer expert agent for each of my customers. So, it'll track external Slack questions, meeting notes, set up routines to watch webinars or podcasts about the customer, so I'm always in the loop of what's happening online. it'll track feature requests and linear tickets, flag if there's any new releases that would benefit the customer, and more. lastly, I just have an ad hoc data analysis tool that allows me to easily put together data across my book. But this is my current set of agents. I think this changes a lot, but just kind of wanted to show you what I've started with. And then I'm going to go ahead and share my screen to get into the demo.
31 Perfect. so first I'm going to walk through my chief of staff. so as you can see here, I have a 7:30 a.m. weekday scan of my demo inbox. it'll flag anything that needs a reply. It can also draft a reply straight in my Gmail drafts. I can ask for it to scan you know, twice a day. Can you set that routine twice a day and also prep me for my meetings the morning of.
08 So, it's easy to set routines. I would say that I typically like to start working with Grockbot and once things are compet or repetitive I ask Grockbot to set a routine. Something you can also ask Grockbot is what could I automate more and oftent times I was doing tasks that were really repetitive where Grockbot could just make that into routine. so that will update the routine done. Weekdays at 7:30 a.m. I'll get the inbox plus that day's call prep.
42 And then 4:30 p.m. I'll get the inbox. and you can set up how detailed you want those meeting preps to be. next I'm going to go through my prospecting bot. So, I basically have this run, a skill. I give it five accounts and five prospects. And then it'll go off and do research, look at intent data. You can pull any, external tools that you have, or internal tools that you have for intent data. at Cursor, we look at usage a lot. So, it'll see if anyone's been using Cursor that I should reach out to.
24 And again, I can have it look for personal hooks, which I think that's been helping me the most get meetings is it'll actually look at their LinkedIn. It'll look at their ex account. It'll look at any podcast, webinars, and it will watch those for me and come up with relevant hooks for them. I can kind of share an example. I think I have Lenny's podcast here. So, I can pull up maybe a recent pod or YouTube video he did.
57 I can give this to the agent and be like, "Can you watch this video and summarize it? Me pause that here and then I'll actually go and watch this. Give me any relevant points." This is also great for learning. I love listening to podcasts in the morning, but I feel like I always forget to listen to the rest. also with Lenny, you get a free Grockbot subscription if you're subscribed to his newsletter, which is exciting, but it'll grab the video and send a short summary. So, if you have a relevant customer that you've been reaching out to, you can just drop in the video podcast and create messaging from this hook. You can do this at scale, too. So, oftentimes I'll run this overnight. I'll go to bed. we have, PG Fridays, here at Safeex AI. So, I'll drop all the customers or prospects that I want to research and it'll do all this research for me. I'll wake up in the morning and it will come back and have messaging that I can reach out to.
12 So, that is my PG agent. been experimenting with this one a lot, but I really like that it can scan X as well. so highly recommend. next I'm going to go over my slides agent. I think this got a lot of interest. so I use granola and gong for my call notes. So even when I'm on a call live, if I stop the granola, I can run this skill where it will based on the discovery notes, it will update the slide for me. So I just had one with northstar widgets. So it's actually going to go through the discovery notes and it will create a customized slide for me based on some of the topics I discussed live. So, this is great if you're doing discovery on a call, you're wrapping up, you want a slide with next steps or relevant details, and it will have a deck ready for you to share at the end of the call. So, I'll let this work for a bit and I have a Figma deck that I work off of. I usually just give the agent my Figma template and it'll update these three cards on the slide.
33 So, it's working and we'll send an update. We can come back when that agent is done. But next I can show you my engineer. so basically I can have this engineer. You can connect it to your codebase. You can also connect it if you have something like glean or even if you want to just drop in your docs and ask questions about your docs during a call, you can do that as well. So, I might type, "Hey, can you give me a customer facing answer on how to set up Bugbot?"
26 And I like that it remembers my answers over time. So, if something isn't in the exact format I want it, I can make adjustments and then it'll gradually learn over time what I want the format to be. So sometimes it'll even I think it's used to me working in Slack with a lot of my customers. So sometimes it'll ask me like oh do you want a quick Slack answer or do you want that in an email? but it'll pull up the docs in this case and write up a customerf facing walkthrough. But it can even ask questions about the codebase too. While that's working, I see the slides are up.
59 it wrote what I heard during the call. and I can pull this up at the end of the meeting. and I feel like customers are pretty wowed by this. let's see what the engineer came back with. Perfect. So, it gave me a customerf facing setup answer. so you could run this very quickly. thankfully the models we use are very fast and you can answer this question live on a call and walk through one of your customers like a technical setup answer.
35 Perfect. next I'm going to walk through my forecast. this is something that I am really bad at doing, so I think my manager is very grateful for this. I, have a template I give it that will, update the Salesforce next step. So, it can pull from your email, it can pull from Slack, it can pull from Gong or Granola, or whatever context you're able to give it, and it will update the next steps in the format you give it. you can have this run on a routine. I like to have it give me the answers first, and then I'll push to Salesforce. And with Salesforce, I just log into the box. and if you use another, you know, CRM, you can also do something similar. so as you can see it updated some next steps with my opportunities. has the exact format I want and you can also you know edit these too.
34 another thing that I do a lot on the go to market team I actually was staying in a hotel last night and the ceiling was leaking so I had to find a new place to stay. so this is some of the the output but say I have you know a go to market kickoff a go to market kickoff it's based in Los Angeles and maybe I can do like a customer onsite I need a hotel October 11th 12 and you give me a few options and it will automatically book this travel for me. I like to ask let's see if this light has Starlink.
33 preferably a flight with Starlink, please. So it'll go find me. I realized I asked for a hotel. Oh, well, it'll find me a hotel, hopefully a a flight as well with Starlink. and I like to chat with it and see like, okay, what's the best option you recommend for my spend policy? You can also do your expense reports in ramp here, and probably other, expense tools as well, which is also something I procrastinate on. looking at LA hotels and SFO to LAX flights.
13 no customer yet, just booking at time. Cool. So, I'll have that work. But, yeah, it'll pull LA Hotels and SFO to LAX flights with Starlink. I also have, a customer expert. so this is just a fake usage data I put together but say Candlewick Labs they're a dev tools company they have around 420 engineers. It'll go look at usage stats how many active users I have how many requests they have CLI users in our case. And then it'll also scan full scan for public stories.
00 Like maybe you want to have it read the earnings report and actually listen to the call. it'll it'll look at any questions that are sitting in the Slack channels. and then I can also have it do, you know, research on X. so something I like to do a lot too is just like teach the computer a skill. So, say I wanted to look at I logged in here.
35 say I'm researching Amplitude and I want to teach a skill that will go and read the CEO's X every week and see some of the things that they're working on. so I can show the agent how I would typically research. And if I stop this here, it'll create a skill. Create a skill to research skates initiatives at amplitude.
15 so you can learn or you can show the bot or your bots how you would typically do something. So how I kind of approached my first week of working with Grothbot is a lot of times I would prompt and use like a workflow that I would normally use and then I would turn that into a skill and then I would ask Grothbot how can I make that better? So when I first started working with my prospecting agent, it actually didn't watch the webinars or the podcast. it would give me a link and I was kind of annoyed because I was like okay well I'm not going to go watch this you know 45 minute podcast for 50 contacts so I'm like can you just watch it for me so I think with Grockbot you have to think bigger and anything that you can do on your own Grockbot can do as well so those are a few I shared we can kind of pause here and see if there's any questions Vincent >> yeah I think one of the questions that I'm seeing a lot in the chat is kind of around like how you think about organizing your work.
18 >> You know the difference between having maybe your chief of staff one having this customer expert expert prospecting. So how you think about one the value you get out of a chief of staff agent and then the second is how you then divide all the work between the other ones. >> Yeah. So, I previously used my chief of staff for everything, but I found that I was wanting to like almost separate my brain into different workflows. So, a large a large a part of my day is spend on prospecting. So, I wanted to organize that kind of stream of thought there. And I felt like I organized it by almost people I would reach out to like these are teammates I'm working with and you onboard them like a team as well. So if it's their first day on the job, I they you know they are going to get better over time.
10 So I organized it like okay part of my day is spent on prospecting. I'm going to create a specialized a specialized agent for this or a specialized bot. And then part of my day is working with customers. So I'm going to create a customer expert that knows everything about this customer and keeps me on track. And I work with the chief of staff like almost as like like a living agent. If I need something really quickly, I'm not sure like where to grab it from, I can put these agents in group chats to work on something. one example is when I was working on this webinar, I was like, "Okay, I need to call in some people that are good at slides. Maybe I want to call in like a graph engineer." and like maybe my chief of staff and you can work in projects. So do like a Grockbot webinar.
07 I'll create this like team of agents and be like, I need to create a webinar on Grockbot. Can you help me with some ideas for content? But I could I I think it's honestly too Grockbot can be so customized. So it depends on your way of working. If you like to have a specialized agent for everything, that's totally fine. If you prefer just working with one agent mostly, that's fine as well. But for me, it cuts down on noise to have individual agents and that way it helps me like organize all the threads moving in my brain. so I can be like, hey, like I have these, you know, 10 things I need to focus on. Let me organize these in threads. And then the bot will memorize those over time. And I also found that when I was creating my slides agent, I accidentally started working on slides in like another bot and for some reason it didn't call my my slides bot at the time. And then I handed it to my slides agent and the slides were way better because the bot just like memorized my preferences. It had the right design system. So over time when you start working with these experts, I feel like they focus on really specific tasks just like just like just like my my job at SpaceX AI, it's not, you know, everything at SpaceX AAI, I'm really focused on, you know, customers and I might have an engineer who's, you know, focused on creating the product. You don't want that to like live in one place. you want to create these specialized bots. So I kind of organize it like my brain or you know working with specialized colleagues but you can also call like your other colleagues. So if I needed my slides agent too see help me create a deck about rockbot. I can also call those. So, it's really just preference, but do you have a specific way you work with the bots, Vincent?
15 >> Yeah. I'm actually personally not a big fan of the chief of staff agent. but bot, but what I do is actually what Chrisa said is I have specialized bots that do different sorts of tasks. So, for instance, one that is really good at learning my style of how I like to write things in notion. Another one that is just really good at understanding how I like to interpret information in Slack. And then much like Christa, I have different project channels. Maybe if anybody here uses like Teams or Slack, you kind of group topics or group certain long workflows in like a group chat with the relevant people who are working on the project. and then being able to have them work in divide and conquer based on the tasks that I want them to do there. So that's personally how I like to use it. It just helps me segment and really quickly understand what's going on versus the stream of information coming from the chief of staff agent. I also forgot to mention this too, but you can create sections. so for this one, I created my go to market team. I also have a section for learning. We release new products all the time at SpaceX. So, it helps me just like stay on top of new products that are launching and helps me learn more about them. so I have this for like a go to market team. I have learning. I have my customers separated. and then you can pin your most used agents to the top. So, I do agree. I have been using the chief of staff a little bit less, but I still like using it for kind of oneoff tasks and then it'll decide what bot it needs to call.
46 Any other questions? >> I think we're good to go ahead maybe if you have a few other use cases to show everyone. I'll keep collecting questions. >> Yes, happy to share some other use cases. Let's see. I got I did get the travel and expense back, but I can show how I typically invoke my PG skill.
16 Second here. So, you can also I think I had mentioned this before, but besides routines, you can also just have skills. So if you want something that's more you know deterministic that you want to run quickly I can choose this it this is what I was talking about earlier but where where it will choose five accounts and five prospects and then it will go and create this Google sheet full of intent data. it'll you know scrub their LinkedIn profiles or X profiles and it will create this Google sheet here see can you pull up the Google sheet in the box it's still watching the video but that's okay there it is perfect so it'll pull up this Google sheet in the box I I mentioned earlier like I don't really use other tools anymore. I still use them through Grothbot, but I just like to have Grathbot kind of orchestrate that work and work in Google Sheets for me. which is good because my my least favorite thing is creating spreadsheets. But, you can give it whatever things you would like to look for. If it you want to give it, tell it to look at LinkedIn or X, why you should reach out, compelling events or angles, you can do so here.
45 and then I have the skill go ahead and create a customer or prospect messaging. And then I can h I can basically like approve these. And then once I'm done approving them, it'll go ahead and drop right in my GML drafts. So people work differently, I think, with agents. Some people are like comfortable just having the agent with full access to their, you know, Gmail and send everything. I like to get a few examples here and I can tweak the writing style or anything. and then then I'll have them put them in my Gmail drafts review before I send out. looks like it finished here.
32 Perfect. and then for my customer expert, it read Spencer's X feed for Amplitude and then it saved a exec initiatives folder for me. So, it showed his recent post, his bio. this is really great. we have exec alignments here at SpaceX a lot. So, I might introduce one of my leaders to a customer. So, if I want to give it a template or have it do online research, it'll help me create this exact brief before, you know, one of my leaders meets with a customer.
08 it looks like this also pulled another deck, but yeah, any I guess specific use cases that people were curious about? Does anyone else have any like fun unique use cases that they've used SCBOT for in prospecting or go to market in general? Maybe a question that seems to be persistent across a lot of people is people are asking about how do you set up maybe a new one? Like how do you set up a new bot?
35 >> how do you determine what to tell it how to give it the most context to complete the task? >> So maybe setting up something new. >> Yeah. sometimes when you name a bot, it'll also like I don't know, maybe I want to name it let's see, like if I named it like meeting prep or let me like give it like amplitude like a customer. When I when you rename it, it will go ahead and ask what you want it to be focused on. So like I had showed, you know, some research earlier.
10 are some like your role is researching actually maybe I'll do like startup research. your role is researching startups on X. Can you find the top companies that seem to be gaining traction and also pull in any funding info.
45 So this is kind of up to you. So for this one, if you had maybe like an internal tool that you wanted research on, you could give it access to Salesforce. So probably for this one, I would log in and give it access to like my book of business. So I mean I I think just how I organize the agent is like what would you need to use for that information? and then like what is the agent capable of finding online? But it's pretty self-sufficient. And I think for most cases you can also just like ask Grockbot what it needs access to.
15 Something kind of funny is in one of our other products we found that what bots complain about the most is when they need access to something and they don't have it. So we created this Slack channel that was basically agents complaining and they would really want access to I don't know you know in this case it' be like Salesforce or you know maybe my Gmail inbox or something. So, we created the Slack channel for it to complain and the majority of the complaints were like, "Hey, you went and told me to go off and do all this research, but I don't have access to these tools." so maybe this is like very off topic, but essentially, you should give your bots the information they need to do a good job. Just like a teammate, you, you know, wouldn't hire somebody on the go to market team, but not give them access to Salesforce and Gmail and all of the tools that they need to do. So, yeah, just give the bot access to whatever you have.
21 I need to purchase credits, I guess. But, or I can log in. But, go ahead, Vincent. I was going to say given you talked a lot about like access and connectors and how do you plug into maybe different data sources that people are already using. Given this is kind of like a GTM focused kind of session. A lot of folks are also asking how did you set up your prospecting agent? How do you think about what things to give information to? Like maybe since we had this in the beginning walking through a little bit of the setup of what that might look like and what are the necessary things to connect.
55 >> Yeah. for my prospecting agent. The things I gave it access to were Salesforce, my Gmail, I did give it access to like our database. So we have a database just with like usage data. So it can pull, you know, if we have active users and but they're not using or they're not on like a plan or anything. So I think it depends on what product you're selling. Something kind of interesting is like we do have intent tools here at SpaceX, but I found that the bot was better at finding intent. Like we have a tool that will go and look at job postings and then it'll pull if there's like any AI initiatives within engineering if they mentioned you know cursor or grock build or other AI tools in the job listing. And I found that Grockbot was better at pulling that intent data than my internal tools. But I mean similar to before we have you know we have Salesforce I think some of our BDR team they use like a prospecting tool to sequence. So you can even give bot access to your email sequencing tool and it'll set up those emails for you. For me I prefer just the Gmail drafts. you can kind of see here what I have set up but these are kind of the main ones. Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Granola, Notion, Slack. if you want to create a plan too, like maybe you have a very long like process you usually go through or maybe you even have an account plan that you already own. You could share that with your agent if it's living on notion or Google Sheets. If you have something that you already do, you can give that to your bot.
48 something I do is we have Slack channels at SpaceX. So we like to like mind share like what are good messaging like what's working right now and I'll just take screenshots of my colleagues messaging and I'll give it to my grabbot and I'm like okay go implement this messaging in your sequence. So, it's really quick. Like I feel like before I would like get an idea from a colleague and then I would like write the email myself and then like go off and do the research to personal personalize it. But now I can just give a screenshot or give the bot a screenshot of something my colleague tried and then it'll personalize it for that account based on the online research it's done, based on all the webinars and podcasts and X feeds is listened to. but I think it did take me a bit of time. I think I started like really basic and I was like okay go off and do some online research and you have to like kind of coach it.
46 I'm like, "Oh, okay. That was like pretty basic information." Like, "Can you act like find some webinars, find some podcasts?" I think I even created a a skill. so it's called a weekly account content rundown. So, I use this for customer accounts, but in my PG skill, which I can share with everyone after this, of course, it will basically tell the bot to like make sure you go and find those like personal pieces of content. Don't just like find one article from, you know, 2015 and treat that as the, you know, best place to look. Actually find like personal hooks. so I think just every day I try to make my like skills and my workflow like 20% better and just think of things that I would want my bot to do. And a lot of this research, it's it's interesting to like give this to your boss. I'm like, I would never had have had time to do a lot of these things, but now that I'm passing a lot of the more basic work off to my agent, I can think of these more out of the box things to my agent.
58 >> Speaking of out of the box things, Christa, I think one of the cool things maybe you could highlight is one of the special things I think of bot is the ability to kind of string together the entirety of workflow. you know, you have the prospecting, but then you also have the researching and stuff. And so when you string it all together, I think is where the things are magical. Either an example here andor for the folks who maybe have seen Chris's face before in our famous launch video. Kristen, maybe you can highlight also how you used Crockbot to go and translate some slides and how you got that context and where you got it from.
30 >> Yeah. so we have a very lean team here at SpaceX. So, a lot of times I'm meeting with customers in Japan, very late at night. so sometimes I will even just have a deck and I hop on the call and I realize I need to translate it to, Japanese or another lang or language. So, I can just ask my agent, can you translate the Northstar deck to Japanese?
04 I also have this like multi-task skill. I got the idea from Lauren other otherwise known as potato if you all follow her on X. She has a multitask skill which paralyzes engineering tasks. So a lot of these things I got ideas from our engineers and I'm like well I would love something similar but for general knowledge work. But when I invoke the multitask skill, it'll work on every slide in parallel. So some things I found that agents will sometimes work on like sequential tasks like it'll go slide by slide and translate the deck, but I wanted like all the slides done at once cuz I'm really impatient. so it'll go and translate each slide to Japanese. so it's you can like do a lot of things on the go.
58 and yeah, previously I just like wouldn't have been able to do the work to do this. So, we'll kind of see he's working on it. >> And you mentioned on the go. curious if you're a Grockpot user on your phone. >> I am. Yeah, I can pull it up. this is really convenient because sometimes I like to work on my decks the the day before. So, you can kind of see like it's working here. I don't know if you can see it on the camera. but it's really nice because I think previously whenever I would get home from work and I maybe it's end of quarter and you get an email from like a customer or prospect and I'm like walking my dog, I'd have to like run home, answer the email, find all the information they need. but now I can just ask bot to maybe find the document that they need in notion. link some of the docs that they needed or maybe like my manager needs some context from Salesforce. So I can have bot go and use all of those tools and bring me the answer and then email the customer.
10 or even like this deck if I was in the office, I found out I had a call, you know, in 10 minutes. I didn't have time to do this in my in my car. I could just ask bot to do this. I also use voice a lot too. So people probably think I'm crazy, but if I'm like walking around and I want to work on something, I can talk to my bots using my phone and it will go do work while I'm on the go. something I kind of forgot to mention too is it's really nice for one ones. So, my manager and I have one-on- ones each week and sometimes I forget what we discussed in the one-on- ones or what to implement or what to work on or anything I needed to do. So, if I granola the one-on- ones, I can schedule it. So, after the call, it'll start working on some of the tasks that we discussed. Or even if you're in like a big team meeting, if you want to granola your meeting or record it, however, whatever tools you have, then you can ask bot to schedule a task to look at the recording and start working on some of the items that you discussed.
26 see her >> maybe outside of just like prospecting and also doing customer notes. Are there any fun personal use cases that you've been using bot for? >> I do. I haven't set up this bot yet. but essentially we have this Slack thread or Slack channel in and it's basically like book recommendations. We have like a pretty large library here at SpaceX. So I was chatting with Dan, one of my colleagues, and he was giving me a bunch of book recommendations. And I knew I wouldn't go and like order those later. So, I asked bot to pull the thread and add the book to my Amazon cart. So, I would just log into Amazon and then it would go and put those to my in my cart for me. also, you know, just really good at movie tickets. I think we found we heard a lot of movie tickets successes online, restaurant or reservations.
33 I think someone like ordered like like was like shopping online and had it go through your email inbox and then find discount codes. I also had to organize my Gmail inbox. I am a offender of like thousands of emails that are unread and I would love to be one of those like zero inbox type people but I never could. But with bot, it'll go and read all those emails. it will, you know, delete any that aren't necessary and then anything it wants to flag, it will pull up for me. So now you can be one of those overachieving zero inbox type people when you have bot do it for me.
19 But curious if there's any fun use cases in the chat. I see a lot of people in the chat still. I'm looking through questions here. Oh, I use Grothbot to find skins clinics in soul and negotiate prices. looking through here and then yes on data enrichment you can also give bot access to your data enrichment tools. So if you have, you know, I think we have like a couple here at SpaceX, but you can give it access.
00 It can also go and create Salesforce contacts for you. So if it's doing research online and you want to add maybe these contacts that they found online, you can just have bot go and create these in Salesforce or just create that as a step to your skill. so after this or after this runs I could before my emails just be like, "Hey, before you draft the emails, could you make sure these contacts are in Salesforce?"
43 I'm not going to push that because these are fake contacts, but but it would push all of these candle wick analytics and silver by media, all these contacts up to my Salesforce. >> I think there's also been a lot of questions or concerns, Christa, around like token spend. How do you think about like maybe how you set up a routine maybe every you know >> six hours versus 15 minutes? What are the trade-offs? How do you think about that?
11 Yeah, I think a lot of people are big fans of routines, but I was never somebody that has a ton of automations. I felt like the more times I had an automation run, they were just noisier, and then I just didn't check the bots at all because there was just so much information to feed through. I think the only routines I have set up are the chief of staff ones. So, it will, go through my inbox the start of the day and then I'll have it run one at night. and then I will have like a few for like meeting prep, but I try to keep it as like critical as necessary. I think the the one I really like is like the the media it's like weekly Yeah, weekly account content rundown. because that will just like keep me up to speed on all of my accounts. So, one thing you can do is you can ask Rockbot to take a look at your token spend and see how you can maybe reduce the amount of times that you run a routine, for example. Cuz sometimes if you're like checking, you know, every 15 minutes, then it's like running hundreds of times a day. And realistically, like I can only consume so much. So maybe I'm kind of the bottleneck on this, but I just like to keep it as necessary. I've even like moved I think I had my Gmail inbox like scanned every like 15 or 30 minutes. I scaled that down to twice a day. So I definitely think the the more that you kind of work with Grockbot, you kind of find your preferences, but I found like too many routines like a little bit too noisy for me and obviously it just increases token spend.
00 Definitely. And one thing I will plus one too is the a specific bot that will scan through kind of all of your other bots work and suggest different cutdowns or ways to reduce on certain spend whether that's by frequency or less tool calls etc. So I definitely recommend setting up something like that and have it maybe run you know daily in the morning just once or kind of like a weekly routine for folks out there. Also, if you want to find more token spend, I think Bennett mentioned this, but you can actually have Grathbot scan your inbox and cancel like unused subscriptions. I definitely found a lot that I didn't realize I was paying for. So, if you need some more tokens to spend and you want to run a few routines, I've heard a lot of people asking Grockbot to find ways for them to save money. I also have a lot of friends, you know, who work in like budgeting and things like that. So they will have a Grothbot better manage their spend. so you can create like an agent that will like kind of notify you what bots are running the most spend or what routines where you could cut down and then you could have a bot you know try to find you some savings elsewhere too.
14 see some questions in the chat. Maybe a good question here is what are some of the most powerful things you've seen Grockbot do for people other people maybe who we work with at SpaceX? >> Yeah, I mean I think that something as interesting is you know obviously we use Grothbot for work a lot but I have a you know a lot of family friends that are using Grothbot to manage their personal life. So maybe their mom and she like created a Grockbot essentially for managing her children's schedule. you know make sure they're making time for like family. you know scheduling soccer practices, making sure there's somebody picking them up. I have people that like it manages like their entire home. even see it like managing robot vacuums with Madic.
09 So, I think it's like it's cool that it's you know not just for you know what you do at work but it can also just help you manage your personal life. a lot of small businesses run on run on Grockbot which is great. I think even you know somebody at SpaceX has like a family business that his his dad runs Grockbot for his family business. So, it's been cool to see the amount of reach Grockbot has had, and I feel like we've been not gatekeeping, but a lot of things were so powerful in tools like cursor and grock build, but it just like wasn't or accessible for you know, day-to-day like people and like even my role. So I think that it's unlocked a lot of like really powerful use cases and is able to you know reduce the mental load of you know maybe your personal life or you know making time with family scheduling events and I use it too to like help me like manage budgeting.
17 >> Definitely. Yeah. I think something as I've been explaining Crockpot's capabilities to friends, families, other of our colleagues maybe who haven't tried it yet. is just any curiosity, anything you really have been thinking about trying to get rid of or automate and or see if you know you were trying to tackle as a weekend project. I think just honestly asking Crockpot to give it a try and see how far you get. It's it's honestly quite powerful and you might be surprised. and then for maybe my own like wow moment, I actually really love the teacher task feature. I think I'm somebody who is a bit lazier on the prompting and so having the agent or the bot being able to understand what I'm doing, how I do it in my specific style that I like to and what maybe resources when I'm researching to kind of pay attention to more than others. to me that has like almost been just as useful and I almost think of it as you know showing bot if it was a new colleague showing up on day one to work with us almost like having them pull up a chair just basically watch me and watch how I work. I feel like that's the best way to think about how to use also something like teach a task and kind of get that wow moment also faster.
27 >> Yeah, I'm definitely a visual learner, too. So, when I was onboarding at Cursor and now SpaceX, I'm the type of person that would need to be shown a task a couple times before I felt comfortable doing it on my own. So, it's also been cool to see how we onboard new colleagues with Grockbot. something we say internally is if you have a question, you can ask Grothbot and it'll find the answer for you. but I also found like a lot of cool use cases that people have been shouting out.
57 someone has it give them six dinner ideas with recipes and it sends it to his and his wife's email. and then it goes to the grocery store near us with delivery and chooses the cheapest cart based on what they chose. There's like a homeschool grading assistant. let's see. And then somebody created a fullear curriculum for starting and running a small business for me to grow through with my teens. amazing. Yeah. So, lots of really cool use cases. as Vincent said, I think the first just to kind of round this out, the first time you use Grockbot, I would onboard it like a colleague. as I mentioned, the biggest thing that, bots or agents complain about is it doesn't have the tools that they need and it hasn't been taught how you want to do something. So sometimes rather than prompting and thinking the bot will just know how you prefer to get something done, you can take over the computer and teach it the skill like a colleague. And unlike myself, it'll remember how to do it the first time, which is great. and it gets better over time. So, I also have these skills that I use. So, I would give the bots feedback. Some people are pretty like they have like full out like they have their chief of staff and they tell the chief of staff to be like the manager of the other agents and give the other agents feedback. But, I just kind of give the bot feedback whenever I don't like the writing style. I try to update that as a preference and tell the bot be like, "Hey, no m dashes, please ever." or no smoking gun, things like that. But it'll remember your preferences over time. So, if you use Grockbot this week, Grockbot is going to be the worst that it will ever be.
54 One, because you were, you know, you're onboarding and it's learning and it's getting better and it's remembering your preferences. two, we're adding a lot of features, too. so we'll have a lot of exciting releases and we're really excited that we expanded to more plans this week. Additionally, we will be working on making Grothbot much more token efficient, too. So, hopefully you can run more routines and don't have to worry about it. we're also hosting a Grathbot for product management next week which I'm excited about. but I really appreciate everyone hopping on. we can answer a few more questions at the end. looks like a lot of people want multiplayer.
41 so that seems to be the theme is how can we share your bots with other people? it's something that's working on and then a lot of fun examples on how you've used bots to like even nonprofits. But we really appreciate your time. I can stay on for a few more questions. Oh, looks like my slide bot is done. So, we can actually check. Usually, it's much much quicker, but I didn't realize I gave it an 80 an 80 slide deck. So, we'll adjust that next time, but it it put together all 80 slides, but really appreciate your time. I think we will put the link for the next workshop and we will send out the recording for anyone else to watch.
24 But hopefully this was helpful. lots lots of feedback on new items people like to see and we promise a lot of it's coming soon. So, thanks so much. >> Awesome. One one call out before folks start to leave. or two, one, if you currently have an enterprise contract with us at Cursor, we're opening up design partners for Grockbot. so you must have an enterprise cursor contract to be a design partner, please talk to your SpaceX AI GTM rep to learn more.
55 and for new customers, submit a contact sales form in the chat that I think Bennett will put down there. And then second, actually, just given all the awesome excitement if you DM us on Xbot within the next hour, we will give you some additional usage. So please DM us atbot and follow and we'll give you additional usage if you do it before noon PST today. That's Pacific Standard Time. Wow, I think that I think we added that live on the call. So, everyone go DM DMbot. thanks so much everyone.
30 Really appreciate your time. and my username is Christa Lettes, too. My DMs are a little bit broken, but feel free to feel free to reach out. Thanks everyone. Bye.
