0:00 I'm a salsa dancing teacher. >> On brand. You're exactly what I imagined the salsa dancing teacher to sound like. >> I make 300k. My question is, how can I focus and stop getting distracted? what I do is come up with a million ideas. I'll I'll start to sell, and then when I realize I have to deliver, then I'm like, "Oh, So then I just refund everybody and work for free. So that I can, you know, >> Yeah, your lips don't lie. How do you not do stuff is the question?

0:28 >> Yeah, like >> The fundamental is a focus is not doing everything that you shouldn't do. >> I guess is there any time in your path that you've had things that you can choose from and then you're like, "Oh, I shouldn't." >> Yeah, every day. You're not growing as fast as you want because your activities are too spread between too many different things. Easiest analogy I can think of is if think about the sun as all of the traffic that you're getting. If you're trying to burn a hole through a piece of paper, the sun is never going to do it.

0:53 If you take a magnifying glass and focus all of the sun on one point, you'll break through. And so, we have to focus all of your traffic on one offer. And then, I think you probably need like 20 or 30 iteration cycles of getting better and better at how you make your CTAs, how you make your content, how you make your VSM more compelling, how you split test the about page, how you reduce churn within the community so you can increase LTV. If you don't want to have a heavy deliverable, which it sounds like you don't, then just sell more of the low ticket stuff. Then the business is very, very simple. Get more traffic.

1:20 And I think because you encountered a harder to solve problem, you're trying to solve problems that you feel like you know how to solve, rather than solving the one that matters most. If you doubled your traffic, you double the business. >> Yeah. >> Period. So it's like, let's do that.
