0:00 We're leading China in AI. We're the most sophisticated country in the world. And frankly, we wanna keep it that way because whoever wins AI wins. And, we could put guardrails. We could do this and that, but I think you have a lot of negative forces that are bringing it up that, shouldn't be bringing it up. And president Trump has doubled down against AI executives, Haidi, in fact, calling, some of these AI warnings a hoax, also a sick conspiracy. In fact, NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang, actually took a live call from president Trump where there again, the president argued that China would be the happiest with the slowdown. So you have this debate growing. No wonder you saw the semiconductor index overnight falling about 6%. But we have to put it into context. Right, Haidi?

0:48 I mean, this AI trade has been already well off its peak. So Nasdaq one hundred has been down about 5% below its June records. The Philadelphia semiconductor index, as you can see right there, is only two day chart. But from its record, just earlier this year, it's down more than 20%. You're seeing this repricing on both sides of the AI valuation equation where you have uncertainty, not only about, you know, AI investments returns, but also about that higher discount rate because you have the ten year yield at around 5%.

1:20 You make a very good point, Shery, because this is kind of just the latest part of of the ongoing uncertainty that we've seen in terms of the investment mindset. Right? And you spoke about some of those points as the question over returns on the huge amount of investment, the profitability, how much we're going to see earnings really significantly improve, but also as part of kind of the the broader questions over AI's role in society, we know that there is increasing AI and data center related backlash from the US to places like Australia, here as well. And now this, debate that's happening at the very top, I thought Jeff Mason made a very good point. This is not just an account from whistleblowers, or from, you know, grassroots activists. These warnings that are coming from the very top of these companies, but you make a another good point is that really this is one of the themes that is kind of plaguing, the downside for markets at the moment. Nasdaq 100 futures at the moment looking pretty steady, so we could maybe see a bit of recovery, but the rest of the markets are also concerned about climbing inflation. That is being expressed through that 5% yield level when it comes to ten year treasuries really seen as that line in the sand in terms of sentiment. We're looking like a pretty tricky day as we get into the start of trading.

2:32 Yeah.
