0:04 hey everyone welcome to the ksp smoothie detox i am kothari i'm an integrated nutritionist and a gut health coach for those who don't know where the gut is it's literally your intestines your colon it begins from your mouth to the anus so this smoothie is great for a detox it's great for you to bring in all your nutrients your macros your micros your fats your fiber everything is in this detox smoothie
0:46 so what i have here is i have spinach which is clean and washed i have mint leaves i have an avocado i got lucky today with my avocado i have a banana and i sometimes prefer vegan uh going vegan so i use almond milk i have soaked chia and sabza seeds which are chia and basil seeds you can soak it overnight or you can soak it just 20 minutes before your prep so i took around one teaspoon
1:15 of each and think prepping is very important guys especially for mommies prepping is super important you just can't decide that one day you wake up and say hey i want a smoothie so you got to keep these ingredients in your refrigerator let's say you don't have an avo you can always use a dragon fruit you can use cheap chiku you can use si tafa you can use an apple banana is great for a solid foundation and a base
1:43 so is spinach so make sure the banana and spinach is always there and mint of course for the cooling effect you want to be on a detox so make sure you use mint and of course there's a glass of filtered water and a dash of lemon so that your iron from your spinach gets absorbed just a dash of lemon because i'm using almond milk it works so let's get started and make this delicious detox vegan smoothie
2:11 i'm gonna go with the best ingredient first which is my spinach the cruciferous green which is great for us i'm going to toss in the mint leaves we were the eighth family guys so using a banana on a daily basis is super important it takes us back to our roots and it keeps us happy and swinging on trees not that we do that anymore but well we could swing and dance in gardens
2:41 um yes then i'm going to scoop up the seed of the avocado oops it's pretty hard so yeah okay i'm going to take almost half of the half so quarter avocado i'm going to pour the almond milk and one glass of boiled filtered water
3:15 we'll keep the chia sabza for later and a dash of lemon remember just to absorb the iron from the spinach just two three drops that's it and we start blending
3:48 i think that's enough okay so i'm going to show you how the consistency of the smoothie is so you have a great idea of how thick or thin you'd like it to be i like mine a little bit on the thinner side so i use more water and i'm going to pour it in this jar this can be my breakfast it can be my evening snack it can be my post-workout
4:19 meal for lean muscle mass i get my protein from all my fruits and vegetables i don't need any artificial protein so once my smoothie is ready i'd like to add my chia and sausage so i put approximately two tablespoons of it you
