0:00 This is a really bitter pill to swallow. It takes a lot of wisdom, a lot of courage, a lot of like damn badass wisdom to realize that people in your life, your lovers, your partners, your husbands, wives, children, they haven't plonked on earth to love you the way you need to be loved, to please you the way you think you should be pleased or to meet your needs or to satisfy you or fulfill you. No, they have not been designed to be your perfect key for your lock. They are here to live their own destiny, to live out their own life scripts, to fulfill who they need to be.

0:40 And sometimes that can match yours. Sometimes it can grossly collide with who it is you are and what you want from your relationship with them. And you have choices. You can either choose to be devastated, to feel betrayed, to feel so disappointed and be stuck there, or yeah, be disappointed. Yes, feel a little betrayed, but also realize that they are here on their own journey. They are here on their own path. Now, liberating them from needing to please you, meet your needs, and fulfill and satisfy you may feel a bit cold and detached, not very, oh, I'm so in love.

1:18 Oh, I love them and I care about them. It may feel a little bit brutal, but here's the thing. Actually, it is the most loving thing you can do for yourself and for them. Realizing that each one of us is on our unique journey towards wholeness. Sometimes our journeys can involve each other forever. Fantastic. Sometimes they may not. Sometimes one of you may want the other to be in their journey and the other may not. We are free to curate, to script, and to write our own destiny. Each one of us is doing it anyway. Sometimes it matches our inner needs, and sometimes it doesn't. But either way, if we realize that no one is specifically intentionally out to get us, they are just working from their own wounds. They are just working towards their own destiny. Then we can just liberate ourselves from the acute chronic devastation we seem to be feeling all the time. And through that liberation, we can free ourselves to be joyful, to be abundant, and to freaking live this one life we have with the ultimate ultimate potential. You deserve this.

2:34 But you have to give yourself this freedom. It takes some adulting.
