0:00 the cold play cheaters. Chances are, even if you're very much living in your real life and you disconnect and you're not on TikTok all day, you've probably still heard of this scandal. Now, rather than add my voice to all of the noise about this particular situation, I'd like to maybe take a little bit of step back and use it as a cultural moment that's clearly captured all of our imaginations very powerfully and ask ourselves why. Why is this such a heightened response? Why is it such a unified response across the entire political spectrum? Why was this couple so piled on? And the reason I've chosen to jump on this particular trend and hashtag, although I don't usually respond to current affairs, is because this is one of those stories that epitomizes the dismantling of the nuclear family. I think that it's worth it to somewhat pay attention to these stories and to these cultural moments because they teach us something about ourselves and about our worst fears and maybe our worst impulses. All right, let's talk about what I think the lessons might be from this story.
