0:00 There's such a buzz around Netflix's adolescence right now. And if you've watched it, you know this, my friends, goes way deeper than just blaming social media or and routate or the manosphere or absentee parenting. You see, what we're seeing in our boys today, their shutdown, their rage, their addiction to screens, their alpha posturing, it is a symptom of something deeper culturally, interpersonally, parentally, and within them. We are raising an entire generation of boys who whether we like to accept it or not are emotionally starving. And it is not simply because we don't love them. It's because we don't know how to meet their needs. We don't understand them. We don't understand the adolescent male brain. We don't understand how boys communicate their pain through suppression and silence and withdrawal or bravado. And we don't know how to meet their emotional needs. But here's the thing.
0:58 If we don't take care of our boys, we are not going to be taking care of our girls because emotionally disconnected boys, we know, grow into men who wound others the same way they they feel wounded and the cycle repeats. So, as parents, it's not about blaming ourselves. It's about capitalizing the power we have. We have much more power than we realize. And it's not about discipline. It's not about control. It is about a different and deeper connection. It's about building bridges back to the boy behind the mask, back to his heart, back to his truth. And this is what I'm going to explore in my new course. You know, I had to make one.
1:39 It's called raising conscious sons. Protecting our boys from the manosphere. If we want to raise emotionally whole boys, boys who know how to love and feel and respect and lead from the heart, we have to wake up to what's really going on. Type the word B Y boy and I will send you the details of my course. It's for everyone who cares about our children.
