0:00 If you're looking to take stock of your financial situation, you probably look at your assets across the various classes of investments. If you're looking to figure out how healthy you are, you might go and get a comprehensive health checkup done in one of the reputed hospitals or clinics. How do you take stock of your life in a holistic sense? Now, when you ask this question, many people find it disorienting, and it's too all-encompassing. It's in that context, we're excited to launch the journal Crafting a Full Life, a year-long companion to evolve with intent.

0:36 Now, when we think of journaling, many people find it overwhelming. You know, everyone knows that journaling is a good idea, but often don't know where to start. It feels too open-ended and confusing to a lot of people. So, that's why we've provided a structure which can help people take stock of life in a slow, but in a measured and a comprehensive way. The journal is divided into six different sections. The first section is about getting to know ourselves.

1:03 There, we have a few prompts which help you understand yourself from your own lens. We call it internal self-awareness. Then, we urge you to gather feedback from the world around you, professional, personal, etc., to get a sense of how the world looks at you. And very often, the reality is often between these two, some combination of internal and external self-awareness. Then, we have a few prompts to help you evaluate your values and principles with which you lead your life.

1:32 Let's just call that getting to know yourself. Then, we move to the various domains of life, and we talk about this notion of a flavorful life. F is about discerning the family context and what all is going on on the family front. L is about making space for something that you truly love. You know, while we know that it's ideal to work in an area that you really love, many of us don't have the privilege to work in that area. Very often we need to find space for what we truly love outside of our work.

2:05 Then we ask people to evaluate the various aspirations because it's not just one identity. We carry many identities. I'm a father, I'm a son, I'm a husband, I'm a brother, I'm a coach, I'm a podcaster, I'm a guitarist. And there are many identities that I'm watering which might emerge in the future. So, how are you thinking about setting goals for yourself across these various identities? That's the next piece. Then we move to talking about how you contribute to the world around you. VO, how do you be a value and seek the opportunity?

2:36 And we evaluate this notion of talent market fit just like we talk about product market fit. Then for us to play the long game of life, we need to invest in ourselves. So, how do we think about investing in the physical health, mental health, and spiritual health? And we have a few sections devoted to that. Last but not the least, we want to shine the light on relationships because enough studies have shown that if there's one thing that determines happiness and well-being, it's the quality of relationships as we age.

3:05 And it's not just in the context of feeling happy and at home, but even in the context of work. If we are intentional and strategic about how we form our relationships, it can really be a huge unlock in terms of who we can become. Now, I know this sounds like a lot. That's why the journal is meant to be a drip feed and a year-long companion. There are 52 different prompts for each of the 52 weeks. You take your time. If you want to take a couple of weeks, so be it. There's no There's no rush in doing this.

3:33 And slowly as you engage with this, hopefully marinating in these questions and themes help you understand yourself and find the answers. There's a tsunami of content out there. You can easily get lost in various rabbit holes if you just keep surfing on YouTube or any other channel. But the point is the answers have to come from within. In context, this journal is meant to be a catalyst to enable you to go on that inner journey in a structured and a comprehensive way and hopefully craft a full life.
