0:00 I grew up being labeled as overly sensitive, okay? As dramatic, as a drama queen, as always offended, as always offendable, as too much. Okay? And I very much was uh I guess always on the edge of an emotional meltdown. I was going to be offended. I was going to be insulted. I was going to be angry and furious and hardone by. I was always feeling that there was drama bubbling. A friend insulted me. My parents upset me. My siblings upset me. Life upset me. And then I went through a period of serious turmoil living through a a a series of terror attacks and I developed a lot of anxiety. I was petrified. Um I was scared I was going to get killed, that my friends were going to killed, that my family members were going to get killed and I had recurring nightmares and I became bas basically just this intense ball of anxiety and emotion. I was always on edge. I was always afraid. In my early years of parenting, a few years later, I felt like I was always on the verge of losing my temper. Like I was getting triggered by my toddler all the time and then by my children as they grow up, getting triggered, getting angry, losing my cool, uh, you know, getting really, really mad. I was dependent on other people and I couldn't coach myself through my pain and my hurt if someone had insulted me. I just spiraled. That's what this challenge is all about.

1:46 Stopping the spiral. I would just spiral. And so I say all this to share anecdotally my personal story that yes, it's absolutely possible. You say that you want to become her, but you need to turn yourself inside out to be like this. And I want to tell you that I I feel that I did turn myself inside out to be like this. that I went through a massive very intentional process of changing my temperament in a way like not my inborn, you know, temperament, the nature that I was born with, but bringing out the characteristics that would serve me, that were positive, that were helpful, that were pro-social, that aligned with my values, that made me who I wanted to become. Um,
