what is up you guys and welcome back to my channel if you are new here i am dr jasmine i am a licensed clinical psychologist as well as a mom of two little girls and i'm excited for this video as you can tell in the title uh we're gonna be switching it up today and i thought uh i want to share with you guys some of the presents that i'll be getting for my preschooler so she will

be three in a couple days and i thought before i uh sit down and wrap the presents and give them to her it'd be fun to share with you guys um some of the presents my husband and i bought her this year for her birthday um and just quick disclaimer i feel like i kind of overcompensated this year in terms of her presence because there's been a lot going on in our family these past couple of months

and my oldest turned four in january and i felt like we were so uh consumed with other things going on in our family that i don't know it just didn't feel special it just felt like it just kind of blurred by of course little kids they don't really care about all of this stuff they're more so just i want to have fun i want to play i want to be with my family and feel special on my day but let's get

into it so she's a spring baby so every year i like to revamp the outdoor toys a little bit and see if i can find some new ones that they can get into so let's start with some of the outdoor activities that we got so first thing the biggest present that they got and actually both of them got this uh it is a bike so for my four-year-old's birthday she her birthday was in january we got her a balance bike we saw a

another little kid at a at a park having so much fun on it and we thought that she would enjoy this i thought this would be the perfect like transition from the tricycle to a big kid bike but unfortunately none of them like it um she won't even get on it she's like where are the petals so i'll link it i'll show you here right here what i'm talking about and i'll link it below in case

maybe your little ones uh like the balance bike but this year or you know around this time we're like okay well we need to upgrade because you guys can't ride the tricycle anymore so we got them both big kid bicycles with training wheels of course um so i'll go ahead and show it here it was too big to include in the video um but that was the biggest purchase we got and both of them are going to be

getting a brand new bike for jayla's birthday so i'm excited i'm so excited to share share that with them and get them outside because we are loving our scooters which is what they're writing right now um but i'm excited to introduce them to a big kid bike so i think they're ready and i think they'll be excited for it so that was the number one purchase we got both of them uh and i'm gonna share with

you a couple other outdoor uh toys that we got so i went on my stories and asked you guys you know what outdoor activities is your little one currently loving and a lot of you guys said the stomp rockets which i'm so excited to try out so you basically they basically stomp on them um and then they're supposed to go flying in the air sores up to a hundred feet which is fun so we'll probably take them

to the park and do this so they don't end up in my neighbor's yard but it comes with seven uh stomp rockets and um it says for ages three and up so i'm very excited to try these out i think they're gonna have a lot of fun the other outdoor activities that we got are these uh uh sidewalk chalk um and their glitter yes give me all the glitter i love it i'm excited for these um to just kind of switch it up uh and

get creative outside the other ass outdoor activity we got are these turtle steps so i'm super excited because these are um uh they come with activities um and a spinner uh so 24 activity cards and six turtle steps so i'm very excited for this this will uh help with her coordination her balance as well as just social skills right having to wait her turn and communicate during the game um and it's a turtle theme which they love

turtles so i'm super excited to give this one a try and then this is for where's the age this is for three and up as well the other outdoor themed um activities that we got are these uh plant science so they get to plant um tomatoes and snap peas and then they also also got this one which is plant these seeds to save the bees so they get to uh pollinate so it includes two seed packs

and um so they get to make these uh flowers which i'm so excited so these were in the three dollar uh section at target actually um so i'll try to find the link uh or just check out the like dollar section in target um so yeah i'm excited for these the other outdoor themed um activity that we got are these um mondo llama paint your own ceramic fairy house kit so i'm thinking of course you know it's not gonna look like this

would be dead it says it's for ages eight and up which is so funny but i'm like they can paint they can pick their little fairy kids and then we'll put probably put them outside uh in the garden but i'm excited for these okay so let's get into some of the more learning activities so we will be starting home school very soon now of course we do learning activities with them but i'm thinking about starting more of

a structured curriculum uh especially because my oldest is four she's not gonna she's not yet in school we're still at home um and so i thought it would be good to get them on more of a structured uh scheduled curriculum if you will of course quick disclaimer play is always the best form of learning especially during this time zero to five uh but of course we add in a little bit more of the you know structured learning activities

ones but it includes so many different activities uh including letter recognition counting colors handwriting patterns um shapes uh so many different things let me show you guys another picture from the activity set so we bought uh quite a bit of these activity books i'll go ahead and link some of our favorites but i'm excited to kind of switch it up it also includes 100 stickers so that'll be fun for them

so along the lines of uh learning games and activities we also bought this spell it out puzzle they are super excited about puzzles right now so i was excited to find this one so what they're do is piece the letters together to make uh words that match the pictures um and so this is for ages four and up but i will try it out and see if uh my preschooler my three-year-old can also uh do these if not we'll wait and the

four-year-old will enjoy them for now um along those lines we got this one as well which is the match your math so they have to put these uh puzzles together to complete the math problems like eight minus two is six um and so this will be very good so again this is for ages four and up okay a couple other educational games we got are these game of states which i'm super excited about to just kind of expose them to the idea

that the world is much bigger than just our city um and to introduce them to uh the idea of the united states so this is for ages three and up we also got the game of boggle first words so they have to roll the right dice and look for the right letters to piece the words together under cards so this is for ages three and up as well so we got boggle game of state which will be some

fun games for us to play inside along the same lines of educational activities we got this search the ocean so they love the search and find uh books and so this one is fun i like this one too because it not only includes the activity to find the different sea creatures but it also tells you about each one which i thought was really really neat so it'll be a good uh activity to do with them so many

different uh pictures uh so this is the search the ocean find the animals book we also got these legos which i'm super excited about because before we had the big legos because they were small but now they're getting older this is for four and up of course they're going to liv they're gonna just stay on the table um and they'll always be put up and will always be supervising them but i'm super excited to try out these

legos and be able to build these different um different things i also asked you guys recently what you guys are enjoying what toys you really love and a lot of you guys said legos which i thought was so fun um so i'm excited to try these out with my girls we also got this puzzle which i didn't realize was 200 pieces she'll probably be a little advanced for preschoolers but if anything i'll have fun putting it

together um but they're they love nemo so i thought this would be fun to grab this puzzle um and along those lines of puzzles we also got uh this pj masks foam puzzle so this will be fun to do on the floor it includes 25 pieces so i think that's more in line with with where we're at right now uh but they are they love pj masks so this is what the puzzle will look like along the lines of pj masks we also got

her these 100 stickers um it also comes with like activities that she can do um to so to come there's stickers that can be used to complete mazes puzzles scenes and more so i'm excited about this i think she'll really like this book and the last pj masks themed thing we got are these backpacks now i honestly thought they were gonna be a little bit bigger i was kind of disappointed um but i like that it has some activities

for them like it has some play-doh and some crayons and some stamps and some stickers now like i said we're gonna be starting homeschool so i thought this would be fun too so i got both of my little ones these backpacks just because we're gonna be both starting homeschool um so i thought honestly that it was gonna be bigger though uh so we'll probably go back and get a bigger get a bigger backpack i don't know they might like these little ones

these are cute um so yeah zoom in so my little one is super into makeup so we got her these fake makeup uh set pretend makeup she's i feel like she's gonna love this uh along those lines we also got her this barbie set they love playing with their animals and this is like a veterinarian set um so this is super super super cute uh and this is for ages three in it
