long list now a couple of things and a couple of shows that i've got which is you know for every single age group right we've got every single age group and guys for every single age group please let me know if you guys have some comments in terms of shows that you've [[0:26]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=26s) been watching with your kids but these have been my absolute july favorites and i want to share them all with you guys uh the movies that we actually saw in the month of july saw a full out which is our absolute favorite movie if you guys haven't seen that it is a story of a gymnast called aryana berlin and how she meets with an accident and then what happens and the kids loved loved that movie like they've seen it i think three [[0:51]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=51s) times but they absolutely love that movie so if you guys haven't seen it make sure that you do we've written a detailed review about it on ksp so go check that out um then the next one was we actually saw my blue umbrella it was a little slow in the beginning it was a little boring at the first but somewhere in the middle it kind of picks up the kids were a little reluctant because it's a little slow paced initially and i [[1:14]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=74s) was also like 10 minutes into the movie and i'm like i hope i made the right choice i hope i've made the right choice but towards the middle of the movie it actually picks up and guys it's a beautiful movie you guys have to watch it with your kids i cannot even emphasize on how brilliant that movie is uh little little details about um about children about human behavior about empathy about forgiveness there were just so many things that um that my kids [[1:42]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=102s) actually learned from that simple movie and i know that if they had to put a recommendation list this movie would actually be there but the next one they've actually written down is i don't know how many of you guys have seen it the kids loved it like i couldn't believe my kids uh singing uh singing those songs after watching america but they loved the movie they loved the concept of the four or the three kids and then you know that being [[2:09]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=129s) raised by there and i think it was a it was a movie that we grew up watching and i'm so happy that though it's timeless and there are moments when they'll be like why can't they just pick up the phone and call why do they need to do so much and i need to remind them that guys it's you know it was a different time mobile phones didn't exist and it was quite hilarious but it was a lot of fun [[2:29]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=149s) uh the other movie that we saw over this lockdown and the kids absolutely loved it was khatta meetha now this is a really old movie which has ashok kumar the movie actually speaks about you know a family and the husband and wife they're both widowed and then they meet and then they talk and you know and then they get married and how does how do the children adjust and it it you know and it's the movie which has that song [[2:57]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=177s) and oh my god my kids absolutely love that movie and it's become like a thing where we keep humming the songs together so if you guys haven't checked that out then um again a really good one uh also if your kids have read matilda you're going to absolutely enjoy watching the movie because you know it's just so much excitement when they finished reading the book so what we always do is we tempt them to read and this is one of my [[3:21]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=201s) hacks to get them to read is read the book and then we can watch the movie together so that as a concept has really really really worked uh so if you guys haven't tried it this is a great incentive to get your kids to read it will work i'm telling you it will okay next up a couple of shows that we've been uh watching on netflix uh so of course we've done a whole series which is on if your kid loves food shows and [[3:46]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=226s) if you as a family love food shows then a whole bunch of food and baking shows which we put up a link which is uh you know that the likes of a nailed it or a sugar rush or zumba's desserts or the big family cook down cookout show so you guys must watch nadia's latest show it is fabulous there are some amazing quick hacks to cooking baking snacking like everything about uh about there right the one which i really recommend and [[4:12]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=252s) this is a tvf production called yeah mary family and this is about kids growing up in the 90s you know things that were happening like garment in the 90s and all of that and how the it's a family of three and there's mona singh or aka also jesse and this father and how they really go about raising the kids and you know how the little one always gets um gets the best things and and the elder ones always have to suffer [[4:38]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=278s) actually the middle ones always have to suffer because the elder one is like a golden eyed boy the younger one is always their favorite is the middle ones who always get sandwich right so guys if y'all haven't seen make sure that you watch ymeri family it is fabulous okay next up we've also seen street food asia now for us when we as a family watch tv with the kids you know while there are some shows which we we which are kid-led [[5:01]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=301s) shows but a large part of the shows are shows that we watch as a family right they could be on interiors they could be on home decor they could be on um you know on street food or on national geographic so we actually have a few shows that we love as a family and the kids by the way watch that show it's not so much of oh my god they have to watch the show kind of thing right um so that has [[5:27]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=327s) really uh kind of worked for us as a concept then the other one which is again a food show which i highly highly highly recommend now this is a food journey which travels across different different states of india and their stories we've seen two episodes we've seen one on gujarat where we talk about about the different foods of gujarat i didn't even know until i saw the episode that the chana the besan that we actually [[5:57]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=357s) talk of it's not an indian it's not an indian green it came to india from the portuguese about three and a half thousand years ago it talks about how bombay maharashtra gujarat were all uh all one and how uh gujarat actually fought for bombay and how the partition happened and you know all of that then how did the parsis come into the the picture and they set base there so there's just so much of history involved [[6:24]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=384s) into the cuisine and the food that guys totally worth every piece of that episode uh and the other one we saw was about rajasthan and it spoke about a little bit about jodhpur and the street food in jodhpur it speaks about um you know about umed bhavan and maharaja singh and how you know they had these cooking competitions and cookouts and all of that in their olden times and you know how every single expense of the rasoi was put down um into into [[6:57]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=417s) these large books and even today if you wanted to know something that happened much earlier and you know just a sheer documentation uh and preserving those recipes preserving those memories it's a brilliant brilliant show and you guys totally must watch that okay the other one that we've been watching is world's most extraordinary homes now you may wonder why would kids want to watch this but that show kind of talks about building the homes across the world in different [[7:29]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=449s) different geography landscapes and just people's obsession about homes and and so much of architectural intelligence that actually comes by because you know sometimes it's at a height sometimes it's on an incline so how do they go about building it so i would totally recommend it because that way you're exposing them to so many different diverse ways of learning because learning can happen through multiple different ways right and then there's grand designs as well which is amazing [[7:59]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=479s) the other one which we saw in the month of july was also on netflix which was michelle obama's documentary on becoming and i thought it was a very interesting show to watch with them my kids are 7 and 11 and i thought it was interesting because there was so much that was happening on black lives matter and her show really talks about uh talks a lot about that and i thought it was a very interesting time to [[8:24]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=504s) actually make them watch that because they really need to know what's going on they need to know what's happening in the world and yes they are at a space where i can and talk to them about these things and and it makes it easier and though my younger ones only seven and she wonders why there has to be discriminancy based your skin color but i think it's important to explain to them that this happens this has been [[8:48]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=528s) happening and for us as parents to say that this should not happen floor is lava i'm sure the kids are going crazy after that my house has become like a challenge so basically florida is between jumping between two things and if you fall down then you actually fall down into the lava so they've been creating their own little mazes around the house where they can actually um and everything else is lava so it's a crazy crazy obsession right now but if [[9:14]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=554s) you guys haven't seen it make sure that you do and of course another one they've been watching and i would perhaps recommend it about seven or like not seven maybe eight or nine plus uh but you have to watch it with your kids it's the babysitters club uh and i can trust my elder one to be fast forwarding things which are not relevant for the total one but guys it's really cool it's about these girls where [[9:37]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=577s) they really uh come up on a need where uh their mother needs a babysitter and they're like listen you know these babysitters are not trustworthy they're not available so how can we start a club and kids are the best people to take care of other kids because they can have fun and they can play and they can do so many other things versus an adult taking care of a kid which is quite boring uh so i think it was an interesting thing [[9:59]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=599s) and they are actually obsessed with the babysitter's club at the moment um and now they want to watch something completely different just call i think the ponies at us club but i have to watch it with them first the way we go about deciding our shows and what we want to watch and all of that is i watch it first they watch it after or we always watch together that's like a rule we make sure that we do that and and [[10:23]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=623s) guys i have to tell you about the show that we saw last night which is called the speed cubers so it's basically a show where it's a world championship of people playing with a rubric's cue and if you guys haven't seen it you totally must because it's about um you know how they prepare for the championship have an autistic is actually a six time world champion uh in selling the rubric cube right under 6 minute 50 seconds it is [[10:50]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=650s) brilliant okay it's a short watch but make sure that you guys watch it because it's really really good next up is shows that we're just typically watching on tv or when we're surfing on tv um one is cake boss they love watching that uh vegas cakes and then the other ones that we actually love is obviously master chef australia everybody loves mastership australia um and then they also like for some reasons watching say yes to the dress and i'm wondering but i [[11:18]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=678s) think they're just in all their little beautiful white long chests and i think they're getting carried away with that um but the other ones that they like watching are man versus wild dynasties and anything that's pretty much on on sony bbc earth a couple of uh things that we mentioned on screen time is of course um also the apps right i know a lot of you guys have been complaining on uh you know how much screen time is too [[11:47]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=707s) much or what should we really do or you know uh what are the apps to download now we've done a whole amazing module on apps that are totally worth your child's screen time some of them teach geography and anatomy through ar and i think it's the most fascinating experience if you guys haven't seen that uh then the other one also teaches about dissection of a frog and learning different parts of the body uh that's a great one we've always got [[12:16]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=736s) solar walk it kind of takes you to the outer space and lets your child understand different different uh what my kids also love is google earth because it kind of makes them uh takes them to the space of understanding a place even before they visited the other app that i would totally recommend though it's a paid app guys please download it for your kids especially their seven plus because it really gives your children the ability to be [[12:45]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=765s) um productive and very wise with their time uh so it's called the app is called productive and it basically tells them okay here you know you take up different different challenges you want to take a 30 minute challenge you want to take a 10 minute challenge it's a reading challenge no screen time challenge food challenge math challenge and it just kind of challenges the kids and they find that so amazing uh and then they want to beat each other at different [[13:10]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=790s) different scores so we've created two different logins using the same thing um so that has made it very exciting so guys if y'all haven't downloaded that it's a great recommendation please do that uh the other one uh that we're obviously because now school is also going to start for us we're looking at i don't know if you guys have seen our article on cyberbullying but guys please take a look at that because that is really really important which are the [[13:34]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8FBhtCN-dI&t=814s) security measures that you should take which are the apps that are actually uh that you must download for people to watch uh to keep a watch over your kids to ensure that there is um you know you're monitoring the screen time you're monitoring what websites and what apps they're using on their computer uh and you know ensure that no
