0:04 Guys, today we're shooting a great, super healthy recipe. It's the basil spinach pesto pasta. And of course, kids love pasta, so there's no escaping that. But what we try to do is use a lot of nutrition by adding in spinach and using white rice pasta instead of the regular semolina pasta. So here's the spinach, which we've already pre boiled, and here's the pasta.

0:36 Make sure you add a little bit of salt and little bit of olive oil and make sure that you cook it al dente and not make, not overcook it that it becomes very, very squishy squashy. So here's how we're going to proceed. We're going to add in all the pre boiled spinach. Okay? So our pesto is now all read. And I absolutely love this color. As you can see, it's a lovely green and it's turned into a rich, creamy paste.

1:09 Now we're just going to transfer this into this bowl, and then all we need to do is just add it to the pasta, warm it up, and it'll be ready to serve. Now we just need to add a little bit of olive oil into our pan and as much pesto as you would require, going to add about two spoonfuls for a bowl of pasta. And then we're just going to warm this up on the pan. So here's our pesto, which is all warmed up.

1:39 We're just going to add in all the pasta right here. And if you feel like you need a little bit more of the sauce, you can always add it in later because the spinach is in any case already cooked. And I think it's all well coated. I think this should be it. Okay, so here's our pasta. We transferred it from the saucepan into the serving bowl. And doesn't it look delicious? All we need to do now is just add in some parmesan cheese, which we're gonna do right here in front of you.

2:12 The girls obviously like lots of Parmesan, so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna sprinkle it little by little as they eat along. Feel free to add in olives or anything else, like veggies that you please. But if it's going to be an easy dinner, then I think this should be good. If you like our video today, don't forget to, like, share, subscribe, and share with us in the comments below all the recipes that you try with your kids that are full of nutrition.
