0:17 I'm Julieann Idleman from Hand in hand parenting@handinhandparenting.org and one of my favorite connection building games to play is for young kids. I like to start constructing a tower of something. I call it. I sure hope no one knocks over my tower. And I'll begin with whatever's at hand, stuffed animals or Legos or whatever.
0:48 And I'll just start piling them up to make the biggest, strongest, most indestructible tower that will never, ever fall over. And then it either crashes by itself or you've kind of invited the child to come and knock over the tower and be the powerful one that's affecting the environment. And it's very, very funny when your consternation over your tower that could never ever fall down is obvious.
1:28 And then of course, you can just start over. Well, now I will construct a tower that will never fall down and it will stand for all time and it can never be destroy. The kids will come bashing through your indestructible tower one more time and much laughter will ensue. This is a great confidence building game. It's a great icebreaker.
1:59 It's a great way to bring several kids together against you. If you've got a group of kids that's new to playing with one another and it's a ton of fun, I hope you have a good time with it. Sa.
