0:00 Well, Marky, we were already at 70% yesterday for seeing a hike again. and that only ticked up about 2% to 72% now. So, we're pretty much locked in on seeing a hike after the pause that we got in the most recent October meeting. And that next meeting, of course, is December 9th. I I think we're going to see the markets deciding that maybe the messaging that brought in the blue wave wasn't correct.
0:32 but they did a great job of selling how bad everything is. And I don't really think it's that bad. Not when you look at these companies, what they're posting for bottom lines, what they're doing as far as hiring and so forth. It's hard to believe that people are trying to sell us that the economy is bad when you're seeing this kind of job creation and so many consumer discretionary spends going up, not down. >> And speaking of ju John, just to follow up on that, just consumer spending and now moving forward, we're obviously in the month of November, so we're peak holiday season, spending season here.
1:07 What is a strong and healthy jobs report like this? What does that mean for holiday consumerism the next couple months? I'm sure all the big retailers are happy about it. I'm sure Amazon's happy about it. Shopify probably happy about it as well. the likelihood that we see both relief and the like I say that the economy actually is stronger than people were giving it credit for means we're probably going to see a very good holiday shopping season this year. my prediction would be a very strong perhaps even closing in on a double-digit increase of spend. So that is amazing. and like I say and as Alicia said as well, it is deserved based on people being able to have a little more if you will negotiating room when they're staying with their job or when they're moving to a new job because the creation is so strong.
Summary
- Interest rate hike probability increased to 72% following the October meeting.

- Retailers, including Amazon and Shopify, are expected to benefit from increased consumer spending.
- Predictions suggest a potential double-digit increase in holiday spending this year.
- Job market strength provides consumers with more negotiating power in employment.
