- Modern products are much more complex.
- They now include advanced features like security automation.
- The ease of development has decreased over time.
Future Expectations for Instinct
What are the expectations for Instinct's development?
Instinct needs to evolve significantly, aiming to achieve 100 times more functionality within a year to meet its claims.
- Instinct must drastically increase its capabilities.
- A goal of 100 times more functionality is set for the next year.
- Meeting expectations is crucial for competitive positioning.
Competitive Moats in Product Development
What is the significance of moats in product development?
While early products lacked competitive moats, today's products like Repl.it and Level have established significant barriers to entry.
- Early products had no competitive moats.
- Current products possess strong moats.
- Instinct could potentially develop a moat as well.

0:00 When these products came out, they're all built in a month. Bolt, Repl.it, Level and 22 others, Base 44, Base 56, you know, it was so easy to clone these products in the early days and do nothing. Now, they're so complicated. They're doing pen testing, security automation. These are such rich products and that if Instinct's going to do what we claim it does, in a year it's got to do 100 times more than it does today. And that is still a moat. Repl.it and Level of a year ago and Bolt were not a moat. Today they have massive moats. And so I think it could easily happen with an Instinct.
Summary
- Early tech products were simple and easy to clone.
