0:57 our schools I can't accept the things that seem to be normal in this field Early Childhood is one of the most challenging difficult jobs there is I had parents asking me where can we send our children to school and I really didn't have an answer for them there was so much judging that was going on that was hard to see because you know raising children and they're doing things to please other people that's because of our teachers and it's because they don't
1:23 know any other way I figured I'm going to do something about it [Music] I was going to look up for jobs and I saw this post girl with this Academy do you want to be a part of a school family and I was like School family like wow that's that's pretty deep like I kept reading making a connection with the parents I was like this sounds like nothing I have ever like completely opposite
2:02 the foundation of all of this is conscious discipline when I learned about the brain aspect of conscious discipline which is what it's all about it brought things together for me in a way that I had never been able to articulate this is why it's important to do this when a child is in this [Music] state breathe with me [Music] you want to put in you're safe

3:02 through life and things are challenging or don't go the way they hoped or they feel sad or mad or any of that they will have this gift that we have given [Music] them a school or a place where you put your child shouldn't be a place for you to just make sure that they're there when you come to pick them up it should
3:32 be a place where they're going to learn real life skills things that they're probably going to use and need in a place to where not only you feel safe enough that they won't get hurt where you feel safe that the people who are taking care of them have their best interest at [Music] heart our expectation is here because we know if our expectation is here then they're going to meet it right here so academically and cognitively our
4:03 expectation is high and we can be high because of all this other stuff so then we bring it all together wiring these children's brains to be able to have more higher functioning skills so that they can be more successful and like it's that big for me it really is it's so much bigger than this I think the world needs more positive that's all at the end of the day if I can help these children develop and grow to be
